What are some products that you swear by and has helped you repair your skin barrier? I have acne skin and am currently using cosrx snail mucin essence together with tretinoin in my night routine but I still find my skin peeling especially when I put make up on.

Need some suggestions on a good cleanser for acne skin. Currently using cetaphil gentle cleanser which might be too gentle to wash off the impurities and sunscreen from my face. 

PS. I do have dry skin so I would prefer something that doesn't dry my skin further

Best serum for blemish?

I have been battling back acne for many years. I don't have too much of active acne on my back now but it has left a lot of scars. Any product recommendations or suggestions on other things that could help lighten the scars?

Back acne

Does anyone experience back acne? I have been having it for quite some time and it's mostly scars left but there are still some tiny bumps once in a while. Is there any body wash or body lotion that really helps with body acne? I use a back acne spray that has salicylic acid in it and also tea tree body wash. As much as it does help, it doesn't completely get rid of it.

TORRIDEN DIVE-IN FOAM FACE WASH

Texture 💦 : creamy but doesn't really foam up 

Scent : little to no scent 

Function : hydrating face wash for everyday use 

My experience : The packaging is simple and the product is the average size of a cleanser. Feels creamy and very similar to the Senka face wash. It doesn't make my skin feel tight after using which is great. Do take note that this doesn't help to remove makeup completely so a separate makeup remover needs to be used before as the 1st step. This face wash also doesn't have any scent which is great for people with sensitive skin. If you're finding for a simple no fuss cleanser then you can definitely try this one out.

Throughout the day if it's sunny and you're sweating, the product would look a little uneven on the face so touch up is needed. But overall I really like this product. 

I have pretty fair skin and the lightest shade matches me perfectly. It gives a semi matte look but can be glowy if u use a glowy skincare as base underneath. Coverage is light to medium. Definitely buildable. When I don't need that much coverage, one layer is good enough. It feels so light on my skin as if I'm not wearing any makeup. 

I had high expectations for this seeing that there were many positive reviews. The packaging of this is simple and nice. As for the product, I used two pumps the first time and after patting it all over my face, it felt like there was a layer of thing sitting on my skin and even after I left it on for more than 20 mins, it did not dry off. I washed it off after because I didn't like the feeling of oiliness on my face. The next day, there were small bumps all over my forehead. 😪 

As someone with dry and sensitive skin, I thought this would have been a great addition to my skincare but it seems that my skin does not enjoy it. 

The second time I used this, I pump just once and this time it was easier to spread and it dries off faster. There's still however a slight stickiness to it after. It does not make my face look oily either. So I guess one pump is enough for your whole face. Do not get greedy. 

However, I don't think I will continue using this as I fear it would continue to break me out . 

It might be suitable to those who do not have sensitive skin though.

TIA'M VITA B3 SOURCE

Main Ingredients: 10% Niacinamide & Arbutin 

Texture : watery 

Scent : no scent 

Function : skin firming, minimize discoloration, sebum control, improving skin texture and tone, fighting breakouts 

My experience : So I have actually used at least 3 bottles of this when it was still in the old packaging and this will always be a holy grail to me which I end up loving all over again even after trying other niacinamide products. This small bottle contains so much goodness and helps especially for people with acne and dark spots. I am able to see good results just within 1 week of using this. It makes my acne marks fade faster. 

Besides that, it has a watery texture which makes it easy to absorb into our skin and can easily be layered on with other products subsequently. It also leaves a sticky free finish so you can use it under makeup as a base. 

Another thing that I love about this product is that it is paraben free, alcohol free, fragrance free, silicone free, pregnancy friendly, oil free & non-comedogenic. 

I would say that this is not just suitable for those with acne skin but you can use it even if you have normal skin. 

Also, just one pump is enough for the whole face so a bottle can last you for quite some time.

BENTON SNAIL BEE ULTIMATE TONER, CERAMIDE CREAM & BAKUCHIOL SERUM

Toner Texture 💦 : watery 
Ceramide Texture : lightweight cream
Bakuchiol Texture : liquidy 

My experience : I have been trying out all 3 products for more than 2 weeks now. The product that I enjoyed the most would be the ceramide cream. I only it day and night as a moisturizer. It is so lightweight and although it is a cream but it absorbs so fast and doesn't feel sticky or thick. I also realised that my skin is soft the next day after using it. Another thing is that it does help speed up healing of my acne scars too. 

As for the Bakuchiol serum, it also feels lightweight and I use it on my neck every night. I have seen a reduction in my neck lines and the lines are not as deep. This is the second bakuchiol product I've tried before and comparing it to the By Wishtrend bakuchiol,  this is more liquidy whereas the By Wishtrend one is more creamy in texture. Both needs to be blended in well as they have some sort of colour to it. 

For the snail bee toner, it is watery and absorbs easily. Feels almost like water and has no fragrance to it. It does its job as a toner to calm your skin down.
