Are any of you taking dietary supplements or drinks that you found effective? Or any diet tip that you feel had a positive impact on your skin health? 

I’ve been drinking collagen drinks for a while as well as vitamin teas and I have a probiotic rich diet —which I think is helping— I don’t have any serious skin problem to target; I’m just curious and looking for new tips or feedback ☺️

My husband is prone to ingrown hairs and little bumps on his body, and I’m looking for a shower gel or anything that could help with that, do you have any recommendations? 

I generally treat what he has with salicylic acid soaked cotton pads but it’s not practical to treat a larger area of the body

The texture is a like a rich essence that gets absorbed so well, my skin is literally drinking this stuff! I love how it accurately targets different problems in one gentle efficient formula: it does hydrate and calm the skin and always gives me a bright and even complexion 

I’ve been using this toner daily in my routines and it became an essential step. It interacts very well with other products and I really think it can be beneficial for all skin types: it’s dermatologically tested, free of sulfates, parabens, artificial dyes, artificial fragrances and EO + it’s cruelty free! 

Also how beautiful is this gold and white packaging? Both the box and the bottle are high quality, so thick and sturdy, and recyclable recycle
This toner comes in a big 200ml, I’m very happy it’s gonna last for a while :) 

What to know about the Tea-Trica Ampoule 

— designed for acne prone skin, this ampoule is perfect to super gently treat inflamed skin  

— it’s formulated with with 55% centella asiatica to sooth the skin, and a complex of tea tree leaf water (9.4%), cypress water and king pine leaf extract to treat inflammation. Tea tree as antibacterial and anti fungal properties, it’s a know astringent but also has moisturising properties 

— I don’t have acne prone skin but I used it every day when my skin broke out because of my period + stress and I saw a decrease in redness after a few days  

— it is certainly more suitable for acne prone skin, but my dry skin benefited from it without getting dry. I love layering this ampoule with the pure centella ampoule 

Formulated with a mix of various oils, this cleanser provides deep pore cleansing without drying out the skin thanks to these main ingredients 

— Jojoba seed oil to soothe and moisturize 
— Soybean oil to strengthen the skin barrier + antioxidant
— Sesame seed oil to soothe inflammation and help control sebum production
— Black Currant seed oil full of antioxidants + keeps the skin clear and youthful 
— Cranberry seed oil to steghten the skin barrier, calm irritation + vitamin A to minimize fine lines 

First things first, the texture: this oil is not a lightweight one, it’s not super heavy but not light either. It’s quite runny but has some real thickness to it that you can feel when starting to massage it in your face. In contact with water it emulsifies and turns into a white water and the whole product is easily removed and washed away 

I love using this oil because I feel like it nourishes my dry skin and keeps it healthy; I don’t know yet if this oil is indeed clearing pores, but it sure is beneficial for my skin barrier, which is an extremely important point for me 

These two ingredients bother me: 

- Titanium Dioxide, which is mostly used in sunscreens, I’m not sure what’s its role in a facemask  

- Alcohol Denat, why is there a drying and debated alcohol in this mask? There are other options available  

I saw this Egg White face mask everywhere recently so I really wanted to check it out 

CLAIMS
It’s a gentle pore refining & cleansing clay mask that removes excess sebum and goes deeply into the pores to unclog them without stripping the skin of its natural moisture but leave it firmer and tighter 

INGREDIENTS 
- Albumen Extract aka Egg White, a source a protein rich in amino acids and vitamins 
- Glycerin 
- Bentonite, an oil absorbing type of clay 
- Kaolin, another type of clay that is more gentle and less absorbing than Bentonite 
- Olea Europea Fruit Oil aka Olive Oil, great fro nourishing the skin + contains antioxidant and carotenoids  
- Panthenol aka Vitamin Pro-B5, a moisturizer 
- Tocopherol Acetate aka Vitamin E, an antioxidant 
- Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate aka Licorice salt, used for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties 
- Glycolic Acid, the superstar AHA exfoliant 
- Malic Acid, another AHA exfoliant 
- Tartaric Acid, a third AHA 

It’s a good list in my opinion, it should definitely help with blackheads and enlarged pores, maybe a bit too many acids for dry and sensitive skins but it also has hydrating ingredients to balance it all 

My experience with this mask was good, for a clay mask I didn’t find it stripping or drying and it left my skin feeling clean and firm. 

However I only tried it once and there is drying alcohol (Alcohol Denat) in the composition of this mask which is why I’m a bit scared to use it regularly. I probably won’t rebuy  

Such a harsh physcial exfoliator! I have resilient skin and I genuinely needed to use a cica sheet mask after using this scrub because I was sooo scared of how much it could have damaged my skin. 

And as I said my skin is RESILIENT, sensitive skins stay as far away of this mask as possible, resilient oily/combination/normal skins loving physical exfoliators can give it a try 

I was expecting it to melt in a sort of soft paste but it stayed super grainy and abrasive :( 

I chose to try the Black Sugar Mask from Skinfood for the mask mania review and its been quite a ride! 

This mask is made to promote smooth, glowing skin. It has a lot of natural ingredients in it like sucrose and various plants extracts, it smells very good and feels like a thick crunchy caramel on the skin
