If you could only have 1 skincare product, what would it be?

There are some products with AHA or BHA. Do you know the difference?  Sharing some of my learning below. Hope it helps you choose 🥰

Both AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acids) are effective exfoliants, but they serve different purposes depending on your skin type and concerns. Here’s a quick comparison to help you decide:
 
❤️AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids)
- Water-Soluble: AHAs are water-soluble acids derived from sugary fruits
- Surface Exfoliation: They work on the skin’s surface to remove dead skin cells, promoting smoother and more even-toned skin
- Best For: Dry, sun-damaged, or aging skin. They help with mild hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and surface wrinkles
- Common Types: Glycolic acid, lactic acid, citric acid
 
💚BHAs (Beta Hydroxy Acids)
- Oil-Soluble: BHAs are oil-soluble, allowing them to penetrate deeper into the pores

It contains essential oils so it may not be for everyone. 

I use this cleansing oil balm as the first step of double cleansing. Usually we either use cleansing oil or cleansing balm, but this one is a hybrid of oil and balm. The scent comes from the essential oils. I mix it with warm water and it emulsifies easily. I don't wear heavy makeup, and it does remove my makeup and sunscreen well, including my liquid eyeliner.

This cream may be too thick for oily skin type during summer time

I got the tube packaging of this cream. MLE refers to multi-lamellar emulsion technology, and it is known to mimic the natural lamella structure of our skin's lipids that comprise the skin barrier. This cream is slightly thicker in texture and suitable for the face and body. It takes a moment for the cream to completely absorb into my skin, but once it does, the hydration on my skin is very long lasting. My skin feels so soft and smooth afterward.

I think these are very good for summer time and it gives my skin a cooling effect upon application. I think for winter time, I would prefer using the facial oil directly onto the skin.

IsFrom's trap water is like an essence. I received all 4 types of trap water sets. Each set comes with a 5ml facial oil. To use, first needs to pour the facial oil into the trap water container. Then shake well, and spray onto skin. I like using hydrating mist in mid-day. I found that it helps control my excess oil on my skin.

The rosy face oil has rosehip, centella, and cauliflower. 

I have used this 2 times last week, and the 2nd time I washed it off as soon as the surface looked dry, 'cause it felt a little bit itchy the first time when I waited until it completely dried and cracked.

I received this product for free from Picky and SKIN1004 in exchange for my honest review.

This mask kit comes with 8 liquid packets which are the activators, 8 square containers with the powder mixtures, and a brush. To use, I open up the square container to reveal the powder, which has a light yellow color. Then I squeeze the liquid activator inside the container, and then use the brush to mix the powder and activator together. The powder doesn't necessarily all dissolved, there are some lumps of powders which is fine. Then use the brush to spread the mixture on my face. There is a scent, but I cannot describe it. It's not too bad. Just like the packaging graphic, the mixture is like an egg batter mixture, as it starts getting dry, it tightens my skin. Once it dried completely (about 15 min or so), the mask is crack-like, similar to the packaging graphic. I rinsed it off with warm water and a konjac sponge. I do use a toner immediately afterward. My skin does feel soft and smooth, it feels like using DYI home-made egg-white mask.
