It does have a high alcohol content and is fragranced

This is my first time using a Guerlain skincare product. As a 41 year old woman I look for products that improve the appearance of large pores, firm and tighten my skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. This product has not only improved all of my skin concerns it’s done more. 

Firstly the packaging is luxurious and classy. The pump dispenser releases enough product to cover my face. I tend to only useable or two pumps for face and neck. It’s a lightweight serum that’s easy to apply and isn’t sticky. It absorbs quickly and has quite a strong fragrance that settles after a few minutes. It instantly leaves my skin glowing and feeling refreshed and revitalised. I noticed a real difference within a week. My skin feels plumper, tighter and it minimised my frown lines a lot. I use a lot of products and am rarely impressed immediately but this is definitely a top shelf serum. I feel it’s a touch of luxury and really does what it claims to. I’ll definitely use it again. This product does have alcohol and fragrance and some people with sensitive skin might find it irritating or harsh on the skin so test it first if you can. I didn’t notice any issues using it and my skin rarely reacts.

It can feel slightly sticky on your fingers but it’s easy to wash off or you can use a spatula to apply 

This is a lovely 2 in 1 product. It comes packed in a colourful branded cardboard box with the scrub in a glass jar. On opening the jar by twisting off the lid you’re instantly captivated by the glorious citrus scent of green mandarin. It smells good enough to eat. The formula has a medium thick consistency of honey with plenty of Green Mandarin Essential Oil, Apricot & Marula botanical oils and zest, shell and sugars which are visible. It can feel a bit sticky on your fingers so I used a mask spatula to apply. It stays on the skin well as a mask and has a slightly warming effect. It washes off with ease. As a scrub it definitely removes makeup, dirt and dead skin. My skin looks and feels so much healthier. It’s exfoliating and really smoothes skin. After a few uses I’ve noticed my skin has less blackheads and blocked pores. It’s also nourishing and my skin just feels rejuvenated and nourished. I’ll keep using this future.
