I am in my 20s and am looking to add retinol into my night routine! It is my first time using retinol so I really don't know where to start :'(

Here are a few questions I have 😅 :
1. Do you have any recommendations? 
2. Are there any other actives I should avoid when using retinol?

Hi, is it normal to get pimples in nostrils occasionally? It is so irritating and I don't know how to deal with it!😭😣

YAYY! First time buying from YesStyle and all of them are products I have never used before!!✨✨ I really hope that the products suit my skin as I am still trying to figure out my routine! 😣

I am still looking for a good moisturizer but I have tried so many but it doesn't satisfy me? Maybe Im too picky 😅

This isn't really a discussion but I'm so excited when I get my skincare!

In recent years, we have seen the rise of customized Skincare. And it has tempted me to try! However, with personalization comes a hefty price tag 💸💸💸. 

My concerns are that with the diversity of skin types, different needs and reaction to various ingredients, is it possible to create skincare products that are tailored exactly to each and every skin based on each individual's needs?

If companies produce skincare tailored for different skin and needs, wouldn't the high production cost affect the sustainability of it's business model?

Or do you think they create a few products and classify them based on skin type and needs, and send consumers somewhat customized skincare products that targets the skin needs?

Have you tried personalized skincare? Also, do you think it is a 🏆holy grail or a gimmick🤔? (Also a gauge for me to decide whether to try customized skincare)

Customized Skincare: Holy Grail or Gimmick?

I won a giveaway and was really excited and left a review!! But the requirements was that the review needs to be posted on this app as well as Instagram so my account had to be set to public. The closing date for the reviews was 15 September, but ever since I've set my privacy to public, I've been getting a few weird messages from random strangers...

So I bought 2 tubes during a sale and used the first tube. I kept having pimples but did not think much of it. After finishing the first tube, I used another brand of facial wash. And that was when I realised my skin started clearing up and stopped having pimples as often. 

At this point, I suspected that this Dr Belmeur face wash was causing pimples for me. But it was just a guess. After finishing brand X facial cleanser, I went back to the 2nd tube of Dr Belmeur fash wash. AND I STARTED BREAKING OUT AGAIN.

This was when my suspicion was confirmed this face wash is causing me pimples. I told my mom about it and she told me to stop using it and instead, she said she would finish up the bottle. However, the next day after using it, a pimple appeared on her face (she is in her 50s and has not had a pimple for the past 20+ years). At first she was skeptical to whether it was really caused by the face wash, so she continues using it for about a week. AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? ANOTHER PIMPLE APPEARED!!

Freaked out by it, she stopped using the Dr Belmeur face wash and used the facial wash she has always been using and she never had a pimple again. 

Maybe it was not suited for my skin or my mom&#39;s but I would not recommend it to anyone as this product is meant for individuals who are acne prone but instead it was causing my acne. 

Try at your own risk! OR MAYBE DONT.

Skin does not feel tight&#47;dry after cleansing. My skin did not itch after product usage

Product packaging is so pretty and of great quality that it kind of hurts to recycle or throw away. I also don&#39;t know how I can repurpose it:(.

 Also, despite being such a good product, I must admit that this product is way over my budget. Product is finishing again and I&#39;ll have to wait for a sale :&#39;( but it&#39;s ok it is worth the wait.

I really how this product felt on my skin!! It did not cause any irritations. Instead, it soothed and hydrated my skin. Skin feels plump after application and the whole experience is luxurious (from packaging to product consistency). After application, my skin will have a nice sheen to it. I freaking love how it looks and feel after using this product!!

I also realized I have been breaking out alot lesser after I used this product. Before, I would have about 1 to 2 new pimples EVERY WEEK( I basically always had at least 1 pimple on my face at any given moment) but right now, I have 1 or 2 pimples a month. Some months I am even pimple free!! 

I am not sure if it was because it prepped my skin to absorb other acne products better or was it because it soothed and protected my skin but overall, it is really worth a try!

This physical exfoliator was kind of scratchy on my skin. I felt that the &#39;scrub&#39; particles might be abit too sharp so please be gentle and use with care.

Like all exfoliators (physical and chemical), it does get rid of blackheads but you might need abit of patience as it will not remove all your blackheads at once.

My skin felt really smooth after exfoliating with this! Numbers of blackheads have also reduced and I have been using it for about 1 week.

With AHA AND BHA in it, I didn&#39;t particularly feel that my skin became smoother due to its said exfoliating properties. It did not help treat my pimples as effectively as I hope it would either.

Still finished it eitherways so as not to waste it [and in my opinion, it can be a little pricey for something that is sprayed and falls to the ground for those droplets that did not make it to my face:( ]

It helps my face feels moisturized after spritzing it on my face and patting it in. It is a product for skin prep before layering other products. Skin feels refreshed and hydrated after use.

Upon application, my skin started to have a pricky sensation. It did not feel like it was burning or itchy and my skin did not turn red or look irritated but it felt uncomfortable. 

As mentioned earlier, this moisturizer is really lightweight, and I personally prefer moisturizers that are slightly heavier. My skin still felt dry and tight even after 2 applications.

If you prefer lightweight moisturizers and do not have sensitive skin, perhaps you should try this moisturizer!
