I picked this toner because it is loved and recommended by many people. The ingredient list is good. The price is okay. It's thicker than water which makes it easy to apply with your hands.
What I find difficult to judge is the efficacy even though I know it must be doing something deep down with those great ingredients. Others claim that that their skin feels plumper, more hydrated, softer, calmer...but I don't feel any of that after using it for more than 6 weeks. It's just nice to use. Are they exaggerating or is it just not for me?

Many brands have launched new sunscreens this year. Which one did run to buy 🏃‍♀️ ? Wich one caught your eyes 👀? And which one will you pass 😒?

I got Kaine for one of my sisters because she wanted something sweat- resistant for the summer. She liked it so we ordered one for my other sister.
Axis-y caught my eye. I still haven't tried anything from that brand.
The new BOJ sun serum on the other hand is not for me.

Do you always check the reviews before buying a skincare product? Whould you buy something with little to no reviews? Or do you prefer to stick to products that are tested and approved by many? We all know that skincare is personal and what works for someone might not work for others, but  for people who are on budget reviews from others with similar skin concerns are really helpful.

How important are reviews to you?

The glowy finish is not for everyone but some powder will solve the issue

No matter how much I like Korean daily sunscreens, I think they are not the best choice for hot days ( I live in a coastal mediterranean town and it can get really hot here). That's why I wanted a water-resistant sunscreen. 
 
I've been using Verdio UV Moisture Gel for a few weeks and here are my thoughts 💭
✅ very lightweight but still moisturizing (I don't need to use a separate moisturizer)
✅ feels really comfortable on the skin
✅ absorbs well and doesn't feel tacky
✅ glowy finish but not greasy
✅ affordable ( less than 8€ at Stylevana )
✅ no eye sting
✅ fragrance free
✅ alcohol free
✅ UV filters : Octinoxate, Uvinul A Plus, Titanium Dioxide, Uvinul T 150, Tinosorb S
✅ also available in a bigger size
✅ no whitecast, even though it has titanium dioxide it seems to work even for people with darker skin tones according to some reviews I've seen

✨ I really like this one. I think it's great especially for a sunscreen that is both water-resistant AND alcohol-free. I highly recommend it. On the other side, do keep in mind that I have a normal to dry skin so I'm not sure how it will perform on those with oily skin.



Because it's gentle it's not as effective as other exfoliants but that's a compromise I'm willing to make because I know this is all that my skin can handle for now

I was afraid to jump in the chemical exfoliation wagon for a long time because my skin got even irritated by some products that are supposedly suitable for sensitive skin, and I finally bought this one.

Edit: I started using Melano CC Brightening essence and this sunscreen was not compatible with it. It was not burning when I used them together but it felt uncomfortable like some kind of a reaction is happening on my face and the area where I had some breakouts was hot to the touch afterwards. This weird phenomenon did not happen with the other sunscreen I had. 

This is my first korean sunscreen and I finally get the hype. 
Ingredients: 6 UV filters, Niacinamide, Centella asiatica extract, Camellia sinensis leaf extract, HA, Panthenol, Adenosine
This is a sunscreen that I enjoy wearing. It offers a good UVA and UVB protection whith an elegant texture. It feels more like a moisturizer then a sunscreen. 
- Easy to blend
- Layers well over my moisturizer 
- Not greasy
- Lightweight 
- No white cast
- No stinging around the eyes
- No fragrance 
- Affordable 


I don't know how it really performs as a make up remover since I didn't buy it for that purpose. I tried to remove my long-lasting liquid lipstick with it and it didn't do well at that

I've seen some people say that cream/milk cleanser might be the best option for those of us with dry skin and after hitting 30. I admit I didn't read much into this subject but l decided to give it a try.

I've been using since the beginning of March as my everyday evening cleanser. 

This has a generous amount of 400 ml and is very affordable (got mine for 8€).
It's a non foaming cleanser that has a very nice creamy texture and is easy to rince off. 
It leaves my skin clean and confortable.
It's fragrance free and made for sensitive skin.
It doesn't irritate my eyes or make them foggy 

I was looking for a gentle physical exfoliant for some time and this one hit all the marks.
It's not a basic peeling gel that only has
Cellulose for that gentle physical exfoliation. But it  also contains PHA, exfoliating enzymes and some soothing and hydrating ingredients.
It's easy to use and leaves my skin feeling so soft.
I also made my sisters try it and they both want one now.
