I just want to share my AM routine in this cold winter, just in case you need some recommendations if you‘re facing dry flaky skin with some bumpy texture and blemishes like me. 

One product that has been becoming my game changer recently is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Hydrating Cleansing Cream. I realized that my previous cleanser was the main trigger of the dryness and after I changed to this La Roche Posay cleanser, my skin gets much better, alhamdulillah🥺. Idk if this is too soon to say since it‘s still my 2nd week of application, but I definitely can feel the difference just from a cleanser. 

Indeed, a cleanser plays a big role in a skincare regime because that is the very first step to start. If the start goes wrong already, then you might ruin your whole skincare routine. You really have to listen, what your skin needs. This is the lesson I‘ve learned from a cleanser.

The brightening toner from Skin1004 is surprisingly amazing to reduce that uneven skin texture. And the ampoule is really great to treat acne and PIE on my skin. Both of them are working unexpectedly 🤯

The best local moisturizer goes to Rich Cream Studio Tropik. I really really love it!!!

And closing step with sunscreen from another local brand, Glowlabs. This one is physical sunscreen. The texture and finish are incredibly amazing😱. I‘ve been really enjoying this sunscreen lately. Eventho it‘s winter, where mostly sun just shows up once a week, don’t forget that sun has UVA as well, which has a longer wave and makes them still penetrate through cloud, even your house wall. Don’t underestimate it❗️

First of all i‘d like to congratulate @skin1004official for this new baby in their sunscreen collection💐. And I got this sunscreen from them and @go.picky for free in exchange for my honest review, thankyou for the chance, Go Picky and Skin1004🫶🏻

Anyway, this milky sunscreen is unexpectedly so moisturizing, even on my dry skin this still leaves a glowy finish. Hence, I‘d say this is not the best option for oily skin and I personally would feel more comfortable to use this in autumn or winter days. 

However, I really appreciate how amazing the texture is! It‘s also scentless, it doesn‘t pill, and it works really wonderful under make-up😍

I wonder what makes it different with their OG Hyalu-Cica Sun Serum, because they both have the same claim; for all skin types.


💔 This serum is extremely easy to oxidize IF i didn’t put this serum in the fridge. Before this serum i used another vit c serum which i didn’t put it in the fridge but it started oxidize after 6 months i opened the serum. But this serum just took 1 month to oxidize😢. Is it bcs of the high percentation of ascorbic acid? Idk🤔
💔 Around the hole of the bottle from the serum there’s no kind of plastic holder like other serum in general, which can make the product spilled if i tilted the bottle (it spilled a bit while i was taking this photo) and could make the intensity of the air exchange is higher. Perhaps this is another reason as well for the quick oxidation time IMO.
💔 I‘m not a person who like to save my skincare products in the fridge so it‘s quite uncomfortable for me bcs i need to make an extra effort just to put this serum on my face in front of the fridge directly 😅
💔 It‘s quite tingling if i had an popped acne or my skin felt irritated
💔 This serum leaves a white residues around the bottle cap, so it looks a bit messy for me.

I wouldn’t suggest you to use this serum if you have a damaged skin barrier or never try another vit c serum before this one due to the high percentation of ascorbic acid in this serum. And IMO taking care of a vit c serum needs more efforts, so if you have vit c serum and you want it to last longer, i recommend you to put this serum in the fridge. And if you put more than 1 serum on your face, it‘s better if you put this first after toning or cleansing and then continue to the next serum. Otherwise your skin would feel sticky and might feel tighter somehow (on my skin).

P.s. I have two bottles of this serum and this photo is my already my 2nd bottle. The 1st bottle was totally oxidized (very orange so i was afraid to continue it) and finally opened the 2nd one but this already oxidized tho🙃. But eventho this one is already starting to be yellowish, i‘ve been still using this and still fine, alhamdulillah.

What i was curious from this serum about, is the percentage of this serum. It has 21,5% ascorbis acid guys, which is high concentrated and so potent for an ascorbic acid. I started using this on the beginning of quarantine time (around April). It was a nightmare for me bcs my skin was suddenly freaked out, pimples showed on every side of my face. Until today i‘ve still been struggling with healing and treating my acne that come suddenly and of course some of them leave a dark spot. That‘s why i chose to buy this serum, putting a big hope for my acne and its scars. But in fact i have a bit love-hate-relationship with this serum😅. So here are my experiences for about 4 months application:

💛 After the 1st week of using this serum, i‘m quite impressed with the result. Alhamdulillah biidznillah this serum made my angry acne and irritated skin more calmed in the next day! I think it‘s bcs of the tea tree water in this serum (it‘s just a water, not an extract).
💛 My dark hyperpigmentation were fading away faster than i expected, top!😍
💛 The watery texture makes this serum soaks into the skin in no time. No stickiness and it doesn’t make my skin more greasy👌🏻
💛somehow my pores looks smaller after every application of this serum🤔
💛 I didn‘t experience any kind of warm sensation or tingling feeling, and i didn’t smell any particular scent eihter.

I really like it a lot, sadly it‘s still hard to find and quite pricey. But im planning to repurchase it tho, if it‘s on sale 👀 hehehe

This Be Plain‘s chemical sunscreen that I‘ve used was the new formula, because the old version was proved false claim (the SPF number). I‘ll put this sunscreen on my holy grail‘s list because:
(+) Blends so effortlesly and very lightweight on the skin
(+) Easy to be washed off (wudhu friendly)
(+) Gives a slight brightening effect, but it's not white film!
(+) Fits perfectly for my dry skin and easy to blend
(+) It's not suffocating & doesn't clog my pores

This was one of my best sunscreen in 2021🔥

Anyway, no wonder this essence got 2021 Glowpick Award and became No. 1 of the most popular product in Olive Young, because I can really see the benefits of this product on my skin, which I didn‘t expect at all!

During pregnancy, my skin can‘t tolerate highly concentrated of exfoliating products that I’ve used to use, but thanks to hormonal factor, my skin gets less trouble. However, there‘s still a day where my skin was having so much whiteheads, blackheads, sebaceous filament, and uneven texture, and I need something to extract and exfoliate it. And I finally found this essence!🥺

My pores on my nose are really prone to white- and blackheads. Since I‘ve been using this essence, my pores look really small, which means it got less whiteheads! I also really adore how smooth my skin texture in the next day whenever I use this product. I‘d say this could work for all skin types in all seasons, but for drier skin people like me might enjoy a more lovely experience of this bcs of its moisture level✨. It’s still oily skin friendly too IMO. Pump applicator, plastic packaging (i thought it made of glass), no alcohol, no fragrance, longlasting content (50 ml and only need 1 pump / application), best best best! 👌🏼 

So happy that my skin is still shining shimmering splendid during this pregnancy time bcs of this Mixsoon Bean Essence, alhamdulillah biidznillah 😍🙈. Highly recommended if you‘re searching all in one product that can exfoliate and moisturize your skin at the same time without any issues like irritation, stinging or drying. I think I‘d buy this with my own money in the future if the product is emptied, bcs I really love this essence so much!!❤️

During application of this essence I didn’t use a toner at all, bcs the hydration that I got from this essence was already enough for my skin, which made this essence quite a bit tacky. So sometimes I sprayed a face mist before using this essence and I found the tackiness was much less. But without a toner was still very fine for me tho, so just find what’s comfortable to your skin😊.

I categorized this product as my best essence in 2020 because of the amazing texture and its hydration power. This water essence contains 8 types of hyaluronic acid with different molecules sizes of each, which are aimed to hydrate and replenish every layer of our skin. Therefore, this essence is indeed for hydration seeker and for those who want to focus on hydration and moisture. 

A lovely blue-gradation glass bottle packaging with a dropper makes this essence looks a premium product, which is a plus point for my own personal experience😍
 
My experience with this essence was wonderful. To be honest, I have my own impression about hyaluronic acid, that it would leave a sticky finish and this essence has 8 types of it, which made me more judgmental😏. But after my first application..... my mind blew away! This essence did a very good job to make the product not be too sticky through its texture. It looks like white milky gel and leaves a natural glow and well-balanced skin. I feel this essence did so much help for my dry and dehydrated skin in this cold winter. My skin always felt bouncier and ‘’full’’ every time I used it because it’s very hydrating without making my skin feel greasier. 

I&#39;d say this essence fits perfect for all skin types in every season, including the oily skin with dehydrated skin because this essence could balance your skin hydration level. I feel quite satisfied with the result from this essence on my skin, so I highly recommend you to give it a try✨
