What to get?

Hi everyone! So I would like to share that I only found out about Centella Asiatica this year! 😭 

So far I've tried It's Skin Tiger Cica Gel Cream and Cosrx' Centella Blemish Cream, and I really adored both products. ❤️

My Cosrx is almost empty and I'm hoping that someone could suggest which Centella product to try next. Thanks! 👍

Hello guys, I'll be incorporating Good Molecules' Niacinamide Serum on my routine, and I need help.

This is my first time trying a Niacinamide serum, for those who are veterans on this ingredient can you give tips on how I should use it? Like on what step should this be placed, any adverse reactions I need to note, or bad interaction with other actives.

Hello guys, so last year @107global was kind enough to have sent me 2 of their products, and I just want to share with you my thoughts about their DEWY GLOW SERUM MIST. 

What is it?
DEWY GLOW is a hydrating and nourishing serum formulated into an easy-to-mist form for quick absorption. With a fresh, fruity scent, it’s good for all skin types and even works on top of sunscreen or to set makeup.

How's my Experience with it?
I have used this in multiple ways, as my first step, as my serum, and lastly as a spray after applying make-up, and guess what? It works EVERY TIME! 

To be completely honest, I don't think this was supposed to be used as a first step since it does contain oil, so it may inhibit the absorption of your next steps. But in my case it worked since I was not able to bring my complete skincare during a recent hospital visit, and this was my face's saving grace when I had to spend 24 hours in an air conditioned room.

As a make up spray, I found that this have made my make-up look more skin like, and does indeed make me look dewy/glowy. 
But be careful to not apply too much, bec then it might make you look like an oily mess (happened to me one time!) 

After spraying, I like to just dab it with a beauty sponge, so as to completely meld it with my powder make-up.

Side Note: 
My husband also loves this product bec of the ease of usage. A few spritz and you're on to the next step!

Claims: This lightweight and non-oily sunscreen is designed for people with sensitive, acne-prone skin. It provides UVA&#47;UVB protection without causing breakouts.

Key ingredients:
BSASM:  A natural active ingredient made of 7 natural plant extracts well-known to have amazing effects on the skin.(Centella, Tea, Chamomile, Licorice, Rosemary, Skullcap and Japanese knotweed)

Niacinamide: Lessens the appearance of pores, has brigthening effects, works against fine lines, and regulates secretion of oil.

Tea Tree Oil:  Works against skin irritation, and lessens oil secretion. Furthermore, this has antibacterial effects making it perfect for acne-prone skin.

Vit C: A potent antioxidant, and has brightening and anti-aging effects.

Consistency and Fragrance: It&#39;s thicker than their other sunscreen, but is still lightweight. This would be suitable for daily use, even during Summer season!No fragrance can be noted from it. 

How I use it: I apply this last during my AM routine.

Experience: 
As I&#39;ve mentioned , since it&#39;s lightweight I was able to apply this everyday, no matter what weather we had for this past week.

I liked the fact that it&#39;s thicker than their other sunscreen bec to be honest the other one was too watery. Next, this has no WHITE Cast, perfect for people who use make-up everyday. 

True to its claims, it did lessen my oiliness and I noticed that some of my recent pimple marks lightened, but keep in mind that I use a lot of skin products (Vit C, AHA, and Retinol). In addition, I didn&#39;t develop pimples&#47;zit, or whiteheads while on this. A huge plus, since I often get clogged pores from sunscreen. 

All in all, it&#39;s a great sunscreen for oily and acne-prone skin. 
Would I repurchase? Yes, definitely especially now that they&#39;ve changed the packaging. It&#39;s now available in a squeeze tube with pump. 
Aside from that, this is cheaper than most sunscreens on the market (399php&#47;50ml tube), so if you&#39;re a little budget restricted this would be ideal.

This essence is holygrail status for me. Ever since I&#39;ve started ABskincare, this product was never absent from my routine.

🐌How I use it:
-1 or 2 pumps  to cover my whole face. 
- I use it right after my The Oridnary
Glycolic Acid Toner
- I use it on my AM and PM routine.

-It&#39;s moisturizing, and on top of that it dries up my pimples so fast (so I need it on those dreaded RED days 🚨🚨, when I get 2 to 3 pimples coz of my hormones)🥺

What I don’t like about it:
- The smell! My gosh, after applying this one your face would definitely end up smelling like metal. This especially bad because I apply this every morning  before coming to work, so naturally I will have to wear a mask. I have to endure breathing in and out a mask that smells like metal.

*side-note: I know that all Vit C have metallic smell, but I’ve used Klairs Fresh Vitamin C drops before, and although it had metallic smell, it wasn’t as strong as this one.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, I’m sure that a lot of you are already familiar with the health benefits of taking oral Vitamin C, but did you know that Vitamin C is also beneficial for your skin. 

Quick facts about topical Vit C :
- it helps stimulate Collagen production (it can help with fine lines, keep you skin looking young and firm)
- it’s a powerful antioxidant! so it can actually help cells against damage from UV exposure

*side-note: although it can help against UV damage, nothing compares with sunscreem&#47;sunblock so use them together, okay?

- melatonin production is inhibited by Vit C, meaning it is perfect for those who are  suffering from hyerpigmentation, pimple mark and brown spots.

- it can promote healthy cell turnover and regenaration.

- OXIDATION is its biggest enemy. Exposure to air, light and heat can cause your Vit C to breakdown, so make sure that you keep tabs on where you store it, and how long you’ve been using it.

How I use it:
- I apply this every Morning on my face, neck and hands.

What  I love about it:
- A little goes a along way, you only need about 2 pea-sized drops to cover your whole face and neck.

- The packaging is efficient. It comes in a gray tube, so there’s no chance that it will be exposed to light.
*side-note: I still store this with its original box for added protection (smiley)

- The consistency is perfect for me. It’s not too runny, or too dry. You can spread it easily.

- You don’t need to spend a lot to get a quality product. I guess this goes for all @deciem products coz almost all of their products are affordable.

- The formulation is spot on. Vitamin C is a known irritant and can cause dryness. This is where Hyaluronic Aicd  comes in, HA makes sure that your skin is moisturized and hydrated, so that you’d experience less irritation and dryness from Vit C use.

Final thoughts:
Although I’ve only been using this for about 20 days now, I can definitely say that a couple of pimple scars on my cheeks have lightened, and I did notice an improvement on my forehead lines. Would I buy this again? Yes. I have no plans of switching for now because this works and fits my budget.

Five different hyaluronates fill the skin with moisture from deep inside. 

Also contains 67% green tea water instead of purified water which helps release wastes and toxins from the skin and calms sensitive skin.

Consistency and Fragrance:
A light cream indeed, takes about 15 seconds of spreading on my face before it&#39;s fully absorbed.  The also smells like melon 🍈. 
 
How did I use it:
Included it in my AM and PM routine as my last step. 

Experience:
When I first used this I experienced minor itching on my cheeks, but at that time I was also testing another product. To determine which product caused it I stopped using both of them, and introduced it one by one. 

Luckily for me, after using this cream again I did not notice any untoward effects. As a matter of fact, this has been a staple in my routine for more than 3 weeks now. 

I love the fact that this is light and creamy (yogurt-like) indeed. This can be used in AM and PM, but for people with drier skin, or those living in colder countries, you might need to layer more.

While using this cream, I did not develop any zits&#47;pimples. My cheeks, which are often dry, have been properly hydrated too! 

All in all, this is a good moisturizer. It&#39;s vegan, cruelty-free, and effective. I can see myself purchasing this again. ❤️
