UPDATE:  I had a head cold this week and my nose was raw from blowing. I remembered the essence is supposed too repair the skin barrier. I used it and this stuff was a miracle!  It really worked. It did not burn like other lotions and products I have tried. It felt like water but more soothing. My nose no longer hurts and is less dry and red!

I received these products for free from Picky and NEOGEN in exchange for this honest review. There were five products in the kit I received.  I am in my mid forties and have dry skin with hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I live in the US and it is late fall/beginning of winter. 

The kit was very cute and came with little stickers. The mini bottles are adorable. 

Real Flower Cleansing Water Calendula  $22 USD

🥈this product was nice. I had only used micellular water once and hated it. It dried my skin out. This is fairly hydrating and has a slight sudsy-ness. The smell is sight but pleasant. I prefer using a two step method with oil or balm and a gel so I will not purchase this but will use the sample when I travel for a quick clean. If you like cleansing water you will like this. 


Real Ferment Micro Essence $38 USD

🗝Key Ingredients and Neogen’s claims: 1) Bifida Ferment Lysate (which strengthens skin barrier, increases elasticity, balances moisture, and increases immunity against harmful chemicals.) 2)

(increases skin elasticity and moisture, promotes skin regeneration).  3) Betula Alba Juice an antioxidant. 4) Aspergillus/Rice Ferment Filtrate  which balances oil and moisture.

🥇This essence is moderately hydrating and sinks in quickly. It is like pouring water in your hand. I like this product but would not purchase It in the future as I have found others that I like better for hydration which is my primary concern. I will use this sample though rather than give it away. I may consider it if I need something to repair my skin barrier. Performs well under makeup. 


Real Vitamin C Serum $38 USD

🗝Key Ingredients: 1) Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate which stabilizes Vitamin C.  It also helps produce collagen, improves dull skin, prevents skin from breakouts. 2) MultipleCitrus Fruits 3) Collagen 4) Hyaluronic Acid to keep the face hydrated. 

🥉I am not able too comment in effectiveness as I only had one week too test. It is a fairly watery formula that absorbs quickly and is not sticky. 


BIO-PEEL GAUZE PEELING GREEN TEA (30 PADS) $27 USD

Gentle exfoliation from a dual textured pad soaked with Green Tea serum and Centella Asiatica extract. It removes dead skin cells, excess sebum, and impurities to even out textures while delivering skin benefiting ingredients.

This product has a pleasant smell and seems very calming. It feels extremely hydrating when applying and foot a bit after. It is a bit sticky when it dries but no more than a tacky primer. The pad is nice. The exfoliating side is gentle and quilted rather than textured and has an opening for your fingers making it easier too use than other swabs. I cannot comment on exfoliation out peel because I had only one pad too try.  I would purchase these. 

BIO-PEEL GAUZE PEELING WINE (30 PADS) $27 USD
Exfoliating pads soaked in a wine serum containing antioxidants for brighter, smoother and healthier skin. 

🗝 Key ingredients: 1) Red wine contains over 300 kinds of nutriments. 2) Resveratrol - “It activates the longevity gene cell ‘sirtuin’ and repairs damaged cells. It promotes the growth of healthy cells and helps maintain body health.”  

I had only one pad too try so I cannot comment in long term effects. The pad is the same as the green tea. I do not like the smell much as it smells like red wine. It seems just as hydrating as the green tea upon application but not as hydrating after sinking in. It is a bit more tacky than the other also. I don’t think I would purchase these unless I knew someone who could vouch for the long term effects.

🥇I really like this product and would purchase It in the future. It is very hydrating and delivers its claim of plumping the skin, making it appear rejuvenated. This is replacing my previous favorite Hanskin Hyalaron Skin Essence. 🎉. It is a watery liquid with a slight thickness but absorbs easily and quickly. Performs well under makeup. It is nice in its own but pairs nicely with the next product.

🥈I also enjoyed this product. It is a thick formula and is very unique to me. It is slightly stringy when you dip in, and sort of stretches like honey, however, it absorbs quickly and hydrated and softens. I only used this in combination with the essence and not alone. Performs nicely under makeup.

I received SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF 50+ PA++++ which came in a 50 mL or 1.69 fluid ounces bottle with a pump dispenser. It can be found for $10-$21 USD. It is on the company website for $19.  

It is described as a UV protection functional cosmetic and a brightening and anti-wrinkle functional cosmetic. It is “A non-nano chemical sunscreen that blocks UV rays” also hydrates the skin.

⁉️Made for: all skin types and IDs used as the final step in your skincare routine. 

🗝Key Ingredients -Centella Asiatica Extract and Hyaluronic Acids. Centella Asiatica has anti-aging and anti inflammatory properties and is great for sensitive skin. Hyaluronic Acids hydrate the skin making it look more supple.

🥇 This product is fairly lightweight and has a really watery lotion consistency. It makes your skin supple and hydrated. It absorbs quickly but does leave behind a bit of a greasy feeling but nothing that I can’t live with.  Performs ok under makeup.  My make up doesn’t seem to last quite as long as it would with regular moisturizer.  The pump is nice and a little bit different than most pumps as it’s tilted to the side and very comfortable to use.  As for the effectiveness of the product, I haven’t really been in the sun for hours to truly test it but it seems to have done the job for the short periods of time that I have been out. 
 


If you have oily or slightly oily skin or at least not maturing/dry skin your will probably like this product. It really does blur pores. Being in my 40’s with dry skin, i do not like this product for myself. My flashy skin became more noticeable. I would have loved this 10 years ago when i was oily. I always used the one from Clinque. I think this is better. Less powdery.

I received No PoreBlem Hybrid Primer.

The packaging is cute The pump is nice and seems sturdy.  The perfect amount comes out.  It came in a 1 fluid ounce bottle. The smell is light and pleasant. Prices range from $16-$25 US dollars.  

It contains Vitamins C & E, evening primrose oil and PHA.  It is designed to blur pores and too prime the skin for make up. 

⁉️Made for: all skin types, but especially for oily skin.  Use between skin care and make up. 

🗝Key Ingredients - Vitamin C for evening and brightening the skin. Vitamin E has antioxidant properties.  Primrose can treat acne. 

🥇 This product is fairly lightweight and has a nice slippery feel as it quickly dries down.   This product  performs well from the start but i didn’t notice an extension of my makeup.  

It does not sink in like a serum. It sits on top like an oil. Though it seems hydrating like using an oil I believe The Ordinary with squalene to be a better product and will purchase it again when this free one is used up a bit more. Nothing impressive about it so far but not a bad product either. 

I received this in a Subscription box a month ago. I have used it a few times a week. I don’t see any noticible difference in fine lines or age spots etc that you would get from a retinol product but I have not been using it long enough. It seems to be moisturizing and makes my face fairly soft the next day.

Instructions need improved upon. They shouldnprovide examples if what it can be mixed with and what it SHOULd NOT be mixed with.   be cautious and do some research. I want to use it more but am having trouble finding a good time ti include it in my routine. It is too powdery when it dries to use under makeup. I need something moisturizing. And i like to use retinol at night.

Seems to do what it says and i would like tonuse it more.
