Hey y'all! Just wondering what everyone's favorite hero product is when your face is irritated. i.e. tretinoin irritation, very dry and itchy maybe even spot peeling, as well as redness. A few that I use are the LRP cicaplast, Vaseline or aquaphor, and Krave beauty GBR. However, I'm always on the hunt for more options. Looking forward to seeing what your suggestions are!

Favorite hero product

Hey Pickles!! Just curious as to how many of y'all regularly use masks; what kind do you prefer (sheet, clay, gel,etc), and how often do you use them??!  Personally, I'm not a huge mask person unless my skin is in dire need of massive hydration (I use the Ren mask) or if I'm using my NuDerma (I use PTR cucumber mask). I have tons of sheet masks and I want to love them but I just end up with sticky skin lol. Please tell me your faves and preferences. Amy I alone here? Clay masks dry my mature skin out so those are rare in my routine; but if you have one in mind that wouldn't be too drying, shoot it my way. Thank y'all! 😘 at

Hey Pickles! I am struggling with some adult acne along my jawline and chin (hormonal?). Imo, as much as I take care of my skin I shouldn't be breaking out so much. I have been using tretinoin for 2 years now for it's anti-aging properties but am still only able to use it every other day due to dry skin and irritation. So for this reason, I am interested in some recommendations on a benzoyl peroxide or something I could use daily on this area without as much irritation. I would greatly appreciate hearing what you think

How cute is this sweet kit!?!!? 😍 I absolutely loved the fun stickers, the note inside, as well as the product sample sizes! Let me tell ya, as nice as it is to recieve full size products, they do expire and take up more space so I'm always trying to go through them or give to a friend so there's no waste. The small samples were actually refreshing. I got just enough to see of these work out for me or not. Perfect size 🤩  
I'll start with the bio gauze peel pads. My favorite was the green tea one - as I knew it would be- I love all things green tea and cica and so does my skin haha. The wine pad wasn't bad or anything, I just prefer the calming one for my skin. I found the wine one good for the daytime as it contains resveratrol, a great antioxidant! Both get 5 out of 5⭐
As for the calendula cleansing water, I used this mostly as a morning cleanse (removed with water). It's a lighter cleanse so definitely not meant to remove layers of makeup and go to bed or anything. It's mostly to refresh post workout or a gentle cleanse. I found that it did that pretty well. I enjoyed using this and it didn't dry out my skin in the day time. My skin just felt clean and not stripped. I'm not a cleansing cloth person so I'd never leave this (or any cleansing water) on the skin without washing it off but if you're using this with a cotton pad to remove some dirt and oil on the go, I don't think it would be harmful or anything. Think micellar water but *better*

Now let's talk about this Real Ferment Micro Essence! This was my favorite item from the kit! I've actually had this in my cart for months before now so I'm so happy that I got to try it out. I'm definitely purchasing a full size of this! My skin loves it! I'm a huge essence/toner girl so this fit right in with my hydrating routine. Hydrating, no fragrance, wonderful ingredients! 5 out of 5 ⭐ gimme more! 
The vitamin c serum wasnt bad either. I wouldn't say it's my favorite one on the market but with ingredients like panthenol and vitamin E, it's not bad at all. I didn't have any irritation or dry patches from it. It actually left me with a really nice glow. 4 out of 5 ⭐

I finally received the Picky Box from Sept. and omg such cute packaging and I'm a sucker for stickers haha Thank you Picky for giving us the option to get this box. This is full of great stuff!! 🙏🙏 I'm stoked! Can't wait to try these out and give my thoughts.

Self Care September

There isn&#39;t anything I can find bad about this product.  The packaging is even nice and it comes in a dark amber glass jar with a pump top so no air or sunlight will degrade it and cause it to lose its potency. I highly recommend! I bought 2 and I&#39;m so so glad I did!

I absolutely love this product! It contains wonderful ingredients that my skin loves (such as niacinamide and greens tea) and a higher percentage of azelaic acid than we have in the states. I did order this from the UK on order to get the higher percentage. There is no smell which is nice. The viscosity is pretty thin but not watery and is a slight pink color. My skin does tingle a little when I apply it (which I like) but it goes away and leaves my skin looking and feeling so smooth and glowy. I enjoy it so much, I use this morning and night. I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin and have far less acne, which is such a relief for me!!

Y'all I was ECSTATIC when I found out I was going to get to try out this toner! I'm such a toner whore 😬🤣 it's my favorite step of my routine and it's a step where I either exfoliate or hydrate. My dry, sensitive skin can't take too much exfoliation, so I use more hydrating toners than exfoliating ones. I have used HUNDREDS (no 🧢) of toners/essences so believe me, I know what my skin requires and likes. According to the Picky app, the ingredients in this toner would make it a holy grail product based on my skin type and needs (attached pics of the product page). They were right, as always, it's become a favorite. Why? Because, the ingredients are all hydrating and soothing. It's all I need during this step of my routine...to hydrate, soothe, and prepare my skin (ph balance) for the best absorption of the serums in my next step. Essentially, it sets the stage perfectly for the stars of the show! That is exactly what I needed from this toner. It's thin, watery viscosity is perfect for layering your skincare over it. After cleansing, I just pour some in my hands and pat/press onto my damp skin. Once absorbed, move to the next step or repeat if needed. I love it and am still using it morning and night! I'm so very grateful that I got to try it out. Thanks Picky!! 🙏💗

I didn&#39;t think anything was bad about this product. I would have to say that it is more expensive than I would like - HOWEVER, I agree that it&#39;s worth every penny!

This stuff is amazing!! I love the smell even tho most complain about it. It smells like chloroseptic to me 🤣. I love the way my skin reacts to it too. It immediately starts to tingle and gets a warm sensation but then it quickly goes away. My skin glows like never before after using it. It is seriously wonderful!

The only down side is that there should be a darker tint for darker skin tones. Luckily, it rubs in great so it shouldn&#39;t leave a cast but it would be more inclusive if there was a choice of color. That&#39;s my only complaint.

HOLY GRAIL STATUS FOR REAL!! This spf is ALWAYS a go to and never lets me down. It&#39;s a combo of mineral and chemical which I actually prefer. Fragrance free. Doesn&#39;t sting my eyes. Very hydrating and leaves an amazing glow on my skin. The shade isn&#39;t too dark for me, which most tinted spfs are, so that&#39;s nice - for me...

First of all, can we talk about the aesthetic of this packaging?! The white imprint is so pretty and encases these beautiful shiny boxes. Immediate joy! This brand was new to me but the ingredients used were not. I have used many Hyaluronic acid serums, peptide serums, and jojoba oils along my skincare journey so I feel rather experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to reviewing these. Let's start with the H.A. serum. I immediately recognized the thicker viscosity, (which is typical of hyaluronic acid with a higher molecular weight) but without the stickiness that I relate to HA serums. Applied to damp skin, I noticed that usual plump appearance that hyaluronic acid is known for. This serum does seem to layer better than others I have used, as well. Next, the peptide serum had a great texture. Not too thick but not too watery either. It absorbed very nicely into my skin without any "pilling" or sticking to other layers of skincare. I love me some peptides! Studies show that they can assist with collagen building. Is this the best peptide serum out there?? No. But for this price point, it isn't bad either 🤷🏼‍♀️. Now for the jojoba oil...I really enjoyed this one! Jojoba oil mimics the oil we make naturally so it's good for most people and skin types. Tbh, I haven't met a jojoba oil I didn't like! In conclusion, I enjoyed this set! If you don't have these types of serums in your routine already, you could definitely benefit from it.
