It has a slight scent in the first few seconds that disappears quickly, but it isn't an unpleasant scent. For those who want to stay away from alcohol. This one has it.  I have sensitive skin but the alcohol in here doesn't irritate my skin but instead helps dry the sunscreen application faster.  So I like that.  If you looking for a big lavender tone up effect,  this isn't it. It's a lot more natural. 

This is a tone up sunscreen with "brightening " effect with the lavender tone. I actually enjoy that the tone up effect is very faint and on the natural side compared to other tone up lotions I have tried.  It is SPF50+ and PA++++ so it offers great protection with a mix of mineral (titanium dioxide) and chemical filters (octinoxate, Uvinul A Plus, Tinosorb M and Tinosorb S). It goes on really lightweight and dries fast.  It is water and sweat resistant and can be easily removed with soap.  I find it to be a nice primer if you wish to follow with base makeup.  It is an amazing lightweight and non oily sunscreen for hot weathers.  It has alcohol to help it dry faster but I don't find it drying on the skin as it also contains hydrating ingredients.  Best of all,  I can actually use this sunscreen around my sensitive eyes without tearing!

This is potent concentration so it isn't for a large audience.  I only recommend this to people who are very comfortable with retinol use. It really isn't for beginners.  

This is a powerful anti-aging treatment with 1% Retinol that targets pores, uneven skin tones, fine lines and wrinkles. It is lightweight and absorbs beautifully even for oily skin in the summer.  It is formulated with Vitamin C and peptides to boost the anti aging effect along with soothing ingredients like oat extract and licorice to help calm and ease redness. My skin feels and looks firmer too. This is a potent formula with 1% pure retinol so I would suggest it for those who are comfortable  with this ingredient. The controlled- release formulation helps to minimize sensitivity.  I haven't experienced any sensitization but I have been using retinol for a decade. So please start slowly and increase frequency  gradually, and don't forget  to always wear SPF in the daytime! I highly recommend this retinol treatment for those who wish to target issues such as pores, fine lines, wrinkles, firmness and uneven skin tone. Last but not least, Paula's Choice products are cruelty free and formulated without fragrance. 

I don't recommend for combo/ oily skin to use in the summer but it's amazing in winters.  If you refuse to use alcohol or fragranced products, this has both though my sensitive skin didn't react badly at all to either in this sunscreen.  

I am writing review for the Allie Nuance Change UV Gel in 01(bright white) since the title of this product didn't specify.  This is a lovely waterbased sunscreen from Kanebo Allie and despite having alcohol,  it is very hydrating! It contains micro fine pearl particles to give skin a beautiful glow, without any shimmer nor glitter.  It has a "Nuance green" colour,  very faint, to make skin look brighter. It isn't anywhere close to a red color corrector so please don't think of it a that.  It gives a very solid UV protection from a mix of mineral(zinc oxide) and chemical(octinoxate,  Tinosorb S and octyltriazone) filters.  I use this on my eye area without any problems.  There is a light floral/ peach scent but it really is very light and dissipates fast so don't let that thought worry you if you dislike fragrance in your skincare.  I usually prefer fragrance-free but when the fragrance is done right like this one,  it is a very pleasant experience.  I recommend this sunscreen for all skin types, though for combo and oily skin I would avoid in summers.  It is not oily at all but it is very hydrating and gives the pumping feeling.  As oily skin person,  it's great in our winters but in the summers,  I would grab something else.  It uses Kanebo s "super friction proof  technology" and I agree that once you let it set, it sets and doesn't transfer.  I also didn't get any white cast and you really don't need to use the two finger suggestion for this. 

You must like lavender aroma and essential oils to fully enjoy this.  I also don't recommend this for oily skin in the hotter months of the year.  

This is a lovely cleansing oil for those who, like me, enjoy the aromatic spa essential oil experience.  Oh and also must appreciate the lavender aroma. I usually lean towards skincare without fragrance or heavier scented  essential oils for daily use but this cleansing oil was a lovely addition to my collection.  The lavender oil, evening primrose oil and squalane kept my skin feeling so soft and didn't need any skincare after my shower.  Of course i still used a light moisturizer as it is still winter.  I highly recommend this cleansing oil to people with dry skin for this reason.  It removes my daily sunscreen and makeup very efficiently after you emulsify it with water.  I always remove my waterproof eyemakeup separately with a biphase liquid as a habit but this oil will do the job! As you can see in the video I can even remove my waterproof eyeliner without emulsifying though it will take a tad longer on its own.  You can also take a few pumps on a cotton pad and just rest it over your eyes or other areas and let is melt the makeup. Overall this isn't my holygrail oil cleanser but I enjoyed using it in winter.  In the spring and summer I would not pick this for my oily skin.  

I originally found it too expensive but changed my mind. It looks like a small amount for the price but it has lasted me so many months already! I use it at least 4-5 times a week in the morning.  I don't recommend this for anyone who hasn't at least made sure their skin can take 2% bha first.  

I have been a big fan of Paula's Choice BHA products for a long time. My oily sensitive skin loves their BHA line. This one is 4% so it is stronger! Please start with a lower percentage  product if you are a new user of BHA. I love that the texture isn't sticky and rather like a serum.  It comes in a dropper and dispenses just a perfect drop size that is very generous for the whole face.  This product isn't cheap so I find even a half drop is enough. It spreads really well and that tiny amount allows me to even give my face a very quick massage before it gets absorbed.  For comparison for those who are familiar with their 2% liquid version,  this one is more of a serum gel texture and absorbs really quickly.  It doesn't leave any tackiness and you don't need to wait long to apply your next skincare product. This doesn't trigger my rosacea despite the percentage! I especially appreciate this version in hot humid weather as an oily skin gal. It works well for me to maintain my pores and prevent breakouts.  I don't think I need to go into details about the benefits of BHA but this one checks all of them for me.
