Hello Picky friends!

I have had this question for so long now, i keep hearing about how important retinol is in your skincare and some people even recommend to start using it as early as 25yo. But is it really worth it? What exactly does it do (besides the anti-aging claims)? 
As someone who doesn't stuggle with acne i dont really see how it'll be beneficial for me. 
What are your thoughts on this topic? Have you had a bad experience with retinol before? Let me know in the comments section !

Hello Picky friends! 

A lot of you might've already heard about this essence that everyone seems to be raving about!  I have finally decided to try it out about 3 months ago and OMG i have fallen in love with it 😍 
I totally understand the hype now and it's now my holy grail skincare product! I don't normally use essences (still can't really wrap my head around how different it is from a regular serum) but this one was on my radar for so long that i had to try it 😊
The texture is definitely that of actual snail mucin but once it absorbs into the skin you won't feel it at all. 
I discovered snail mucin through kbeauty products and it's now one of my favorite ingredients for acne. I currently don't have acne anymore but i still deal with breakouts here and there, this product has helped me sooth my skin and made my pimples disappear overnight 🤭🤭

I need your help choosing a good exfoliant, preferably Kbeauty since i can easily get them online. I have been using the cosrx BHA blackhead power liquid for a while now and the bottle is almost empty so i need to purchase a new exfoliant. I struggle with blackheads especially on my nose. I have been thinking about getting the purito exfoliating toner but i heard that it might be too strong!

I have yet to find a sunscreen that i absolutely love and works great for my combination skin type. I recently bought the bioré uv aqua geland so far it's better than my last suncreens. 
Do you have any recommendations ? I also want to try the new sunscreen by Beauty Of Joseon, is there anyone who tried it here?

This was the first cleansing balm that i ever used. Since im new to double cleansing, i was afraid it'll break me out or irritate my skin. To my surprise, it was very gentle and acne friendly. It didn't irritate or cloud my eyes either! Not only does it deep cleanse your skin, it doesn't leave any film residue on your face after washing with only water either and it emulsifies extremely well. I've even tried taking off my waterproof sunscreen and mascara, and it did the job amazingly. It's fragrance, essential oil and mineral oil free which i absolutely love. This is a balm i would totally recommend to every skin type.

I LOOVE IT! It makes my skin really soft 🤭 
•This essence claims to be an all in one product (essence, serum, moisturizer) but i was still skeptical about it , until i tried it! For reference i have combination skin and i live in a fairly warm city, so winter is not that harsh here. 
•I felt comfortable applying 2 to 3 layers of this essence right after my toner and it didn't leave any stickiness or tackiness.
• I love the packaging, it's a 150ml glass bottle with a satin finish and it comes with a little plastic cap to ensure it wouldn't leak. 
•The product had 2 layers: the oils on top, and the kombucha tea at the bottom. It rlly ressemble the appearance of milk tea which i find so cute. You have to shake the bottle before using it ! 
•Overall, i would highly recommend this to all skin types even drier skin types who tend to avoid tea-based products!

I used the products from this set for 3 weeks now without adding any other products to my routine besides a cleanser and moisturizer just to see how effective they really are. This toner claims to hydrate the skin and refine texture by removing dead skin cells and impurities. In my opinion, those claims are correct, my skin feels clean and it helped my get rid of some bumps around my chin. I think people with dry skin would love to use this instead of a cleanser especially in the morning, use it on a cotton pad to clean your face and you're done! It doesn't strip away any moisture. In addition to that, i was surprised to find that it has soothing properties too! I often break out easily especially if I had too much dairy, and this toner along with the serum helped me calm my skin and get rid of the redness. As i have an oily T-zone i struggle with finding toner that will keep my skin hydrated and not leave any greasy residue, and this toner checked all boxes! Overall i highly recommend it for everyone, especially for those who have oily or combination skin type and those who live in humid areas, this would be the perfect toner to use during the summer!


Nothing bad to say about this product, just dont expect outstanding brightening results.

I found this serum to be hydrating and soothing, it didn't break out at all but even helped calm my hormonal breakouts. I'm not sure how effective it is for brightening, since it doesn't have any active ingredients it'll take a little longer to see any results so as far as I'm concerned this isn't a miracle serum if you want to brighten up your skin tone. The key is to be consistent with it to achieve great results. I found myself reaching for this serum when i breakout. Overall, I'd say that this is a good priced serum that'll help you with hydration and maybe brightening after consistent use. I would recommend it to all skin types.

Okay i loooved this eye cream, the set came with 2 minis and i would totally repurchase this! I never really cared about eye creams and i always believed that they're more geared towards mature skin but i was proven wrong. If you have puffy eyes I'm sure you'll love this as much as i did, it'll provide you with moisture and it also has some brightening effects thanks to the niacinamide in the formula.
