This serum is formulated with 23% pure Vitamin C that is intended to fade acne scars, brighten and restore uneven skin tone. It is formulated to maximize effectiveness of the product while minimizing irritation. 

COSRX Vitamin C serum has a slightly oily feel; not too thick, not too watery. It absorbs into my skin just as quickly as it is applied which is a huge bonus to me. I have previously used The Ordinary Ascorbic acid 8%+ Alpha Arbutin 2% which has a more oily texture and takes more time to absorb.

I noticed some tingling upon first application only. I have used this product every morning before my sunscreen since I have received it. Since then, I have noticed significant change in the overall brightness of my skin. I loved the product so much that I already repurchased it.

The pump could definitely be updated. This may have been fixed with the new packaging.

The Isntree Clear Skin 8% AHA Essence contains Glycolic acid (4%) and lactic acid (4%) which is intended to sweep away dead skin cells, revealing a smoother and brighter complexion.
I have been using this product for over a month now, and I bought it just before the packaging was updated. The essence is a very watery one- more like a light toner consistency. It has streaks of iridescence but once applied, the irridescence disappears.
The essence is dispensed with a pump and the toner squirts out an appropriate amount. However, I found that the pump feels quite cheap and can pump any amount of product out no matter how hard or otherwise you push.

My Experience
I love this product. It is very gentle and didn’t seem to cause any irritation for my skin. Granted my skin is resilient, it wasn’t overly harsh like some products I have used in the past. It gently exfoliates my skin and I find that using it three times a week was best. I did experience some mild purging with the product but that was quickly resolved. I love that it is very gentle and works well with other products in my routine.
I would confidently recommend to any skin type. Sensitive skin types and AHA newbies may want to steer clear because of the high percentages of AHAs in this product. I would also recommend always following up with sunscreen during the day.
The 4/5 star rating is definitely because of the pump which could have been better in my opinion. It is however, definitely worth getting.

This product was gifted to me by @pickyrewards and @telse. This Essence is incredible. It’s the only essence I’ve ever thought of repurchasing over and over again. It contains kombucha and probiotics which help to nourish dehydrated skin. It’s very supple and smells incredible, even though it doesn’t contain artificial fragrances. I usually can’t stand fragrance.

The Telse Kombucha teatox essence leaves my skin hydrated all day long. It leaves a subtle glow behind too which I think is from the plant oils that are in the formula. I love this Essence and will be repurchasing as I’m on my last couple of uses.

INTRODUCTION
The Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence has blown up as a must-have product over the past couple of months. It is an essence designed to be extremely hydrating and highly repairing. The main ingredient is… you guessed it snail mucin. 
Snail Mucin is simply the slimy excretion that comes from snails. It is said to be a powerful antioxidant with highly hydrating and moisturising properties. Brands that use this powerful ingredient claim that no snails are harmed in the making of their products. 
The snails are placed on a mesh net in a dark room and are left to roam freely on the mesh, and no external stress is applied. As the snails roam, the mucin they leave behind on the mesh falls into the bucket below, which is then collected and carefully treated to be used in the Advanced Snail Line of products.
I bought the Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence with my own money in a bid to repair my skin barrier. Hydration is extremely important for me when it comes to repairing my skin’s moisture barrier. More so, it has pretty interesting claims and I was enticed. 
Does it meet these claims? Yes, it does… It deserves all the hype it gets!

DESCRIPTION
The Product comes in an outer paper packaging which houses the main bottle. The product itself is inside a glass bottle, with a nice black pump to help dispense the product. It has a beautiful and minimalist packaging in my opinion. It looks extremely good amongst other products in my skincare collection.
It comes in three different sizes- 20mL, 30mL and 100mL. The 100mL bottle is what I got and I’ve been using it for six months now. A little goes a long way with this product.
It does not contain any fragrance and it has a concise ingredients list. The texture of the product is slimy, and it is clear in colour.

Snail Secretion Filtrate, Betaine, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Arginine, Allantoin, Ethyl Hexanediol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol.

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS TO DO
The product claims to be hydrating while protecting the skin from moisture loss. In fact, your skin should be hydrated all day by using this essence. It is said to be special because it can also help with skin texture and some people claim that it helps with hyperpigmentation. However, Cosrx focuses their marketing on the ability of the product to revitalise, repair and hydrate the skin.
It also claims to work extremely well with other products and help to soothe damaged skin. This reason alone is why I was so drawn to the product.

HOW TO USE
Essences are used after toners. If a toner is not in your routine, you’re to use immediately after cleansing on damp skin. Apply a suitable amount to the face and gently pat into the skin to let the product absorb. After that, follow with serums, and continue with the rest of your routine. 
The Cosrx Advanced Snail Mucin Essence can be used both morning and night.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE 
This product was phenomenal for me. It is one of the best and affordable hydrating products you can find in the market. It lasts an incredibly long time and it is extremely hydrating.
The first time I tried this product, my skin felt plump and extremely hydrated. It was not irritating. I definitely found the sliminess quite interesting but it grew on me super quickly. I always use it right after my Etude House Soon Jung Toner which is a really hydrating and lightweight toner. The two complimented each other well to give me a well hydrated skin.
The product glides over your skin and absorbs quickly. A little does go a long way especially if you’re applying on damp skin… which you should be.
The product is one of the products that helped me heal my skin barrier. I trust this product in its claims to keep your skin nice and hydrated. It is essential that you follow up with a good moisturiser to lock all that hydration in.
One thing I noticed is that it slightly helped with my skin texture. It could be because it really plumped up my skin. Plump skin means less noticeable my texture.
