So I'm 24 and I've never did anything to my hair apart from just use shampoo and conditioner plus an occasional use of olaplex (which does nothing BTW). I take good care of the skin on my face so would like to start doing same to my hair but there's a lot of contradiction online that I get confused about. 
1. People say not to use oils on your scalp and just put it on the length, some say to put it on scalp as well. Also how often? 
2. People say not to go to bed with oils in your hair, but what do I do if I don't wash my hair daily 
3. Some say to braid your hair when going to bed, some say it leads to breakage 
4. I did stop going to bed with wet hair, but I end up using a hairdryer, is that okay? 

Can someone please recommend a trustworthy YouTuber which extensively talkes about hair and how to take care of them?

Let me just say that I love this site and s happy I found it in the first place, but I wish Picky would be more consistent. I love how they keep coming up with new things but they are not vert consistent with their current affairs, I think the most active user giveaway has disappeared, Picky boxes are on and off, also other events are silent for a long time like the SPS, although they are picking it up again now. Who agrees?

The only negative thing that I can think of is the price, for a regular consumer it's too steep, if I could I would repurchase but its just too expensive

This lasted me for about 3 months and during this time I found no fault in this product, definitely a holy grail!

The cleansing balm is just amazing aesthetically, yellow mango colour with a similar scent, that just melts into your skin providing a good opportunity for a face massage, you'll never want to skip a first cleanse again! 

The cleansing power is great, gets rid of waterproof mascara, sunscreen, and sebum with ease without stripping the skin of essentials, or leaving an annoying oily residue behind. This cleanser doesn't make your eyes go cloudy as well which is very unusual for an oil based product so a massive plus!

However, if you go a little too thoroughly around the eyes with this oil, it will make your eyes go cloudy, but it doesn't have the tendency to do it in normal circumstances unlike heimish cleansing balm

Would I repurchase? I'd say more yes than no, this is definitely a strong cleanser and can be a little drying for someone with already dry skin, but for the days when I wear make up this is wonderful

I really enjoyed this cleanser and if you are someone who wears make up regularly, this is definitely for you! It removes all oil based impurities really well, including sunscreen. This oil is pleasant to use, there was no particular scent that I'd noticed, and it has a little thickness to it which is to my liking.

On contact to water this does emulsify like the majority of other cleansers, it turns milky and can be washed off effortlessly without leaving an oily residue behind. This cleanser never broke me out or irritated my skin. 

As the winter approaches, people with dry skin like me have to start thinking about all the ways in which they can stop their skin from drying out even further, so i was glad to see 'moisturising' written on the front, however it was barely so.

So far, this serum didn't sting my breakouts, but I can't say this has been particularly soothing either, for example it felt uncomfortable on my exfoliation days

Would I repurchase? In my opinion this serum is  overpriced for what it does and I would not pay £20 for it, I'm stil debating if it does anything...

I absolutely fell in love with the packaging of this serum, this has the most captivating blue colour and I couldn't stop staring at it! (Unfortunately, the serum itself is not blue🤣)

It has this gel texture that absorbs fast withou any stickiness, however, it doesn't provide mind-blowing hydration, so you'll have to use a toner with it, if you want to add more hydration to your skin.

My acne has been in a particularly good condition while I was using this, but it is not to say that this serum targets acne, my acne is mainly controlled by other ingredients, and this merely acts as a support system, which is not a bad thing. 

This product does have a couple of 'inconveniences' though. This serum has squalene oil in it, meaning that oily skin types might not be too happy using it, as well as dry skin types in summer time as it might feel suffocating on the skin. Another downside of oil, is the way it travels around your face to your eyes and mouth if you overapply, fortunately I have eventually found the perfect amount for myself, less is definitely more in this case. Another trick that I came across is using gel moisturizer as a last step rather than cream as it will prevent oil from travelling as much.

Beware that this product expires only after 3 months, I have only noticed that after using it for 6 months and I still have half of the serum still left in the bottle😳

People that are into skincare probably heard about retinol countless times. It's an ingredient that has more than 70 years of established studies showing it has value for skin on several fronts: It’s a skin-restoring, wrinkle-smoothing, firming and pore-refining ingredient, allowing it to improve a variety of skin concerns, most related to visible signs of aging and acne.

If you think about adding this hero of an ingredient to your routine, you'll probably have to research a little bit before doing so, the main points being 1. Start at the lower percentage of retinol first, I would recommend 0.2%. 
2. If you don't religiously wear sunscreen every day, FORGET it, not only is it useless in the long run, you can also seriously damage your skin if you go out in the sun without sunscreen while on retinol.

Talking about the product itself, it was great! This being 0.5% did require careful acclimatisation, I only used it once a week for a month initially as it purged my skin a little and made my skin dryer 3-4 days after the application. Eventually, all those side effects stopped, and after some time I was less prone to my usual breakouts that I would get around my period, although it didn't "cure" my acne (but nothing will) it definitely decreased number of breakouts I was experiencing overall and the severity of them. The biggest difference I saw was in my hyperpigmentation, it helped like no other product. I had years of PIH left from my awful acne but this has cleared the majority of it (only missing real dark marks) + preventing new PIH from appearing. I definitely recommend this product to someone who's experiencing active breakouts.

Would I repurchase? Possibly after trying what else is there! 

unfortunately it makes the skin "squeaky clean" to the touch, like with soaps, which I'm not the fan of, but even considering that it still didn't dry out my skin

This doesn't foam up as such, rather it froths up nicely, with even the smallest amounts, so this will easily last you 6+ months. There wasn't a particular smell that I noticed, just a slight soapy scent. The flip cap is very easy to manipulate with one hand, and I appreciate even more after struggling with screw on caps.

It never worsened my acne or irritated, it is a gentle cleanser
