PROPOLIS (INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT)

There are so many products from Cleansers, toners, essences, serums, Moisturiser, sleeping masks, Exfoliators, etc etc and it becomes so confusing sometimes  if we should apply that product on damp skin or dry skin ? 

I have a chart trying to solve this problem.

DAMP SKIN OR DRY SKIN

Hey Guys, this new year I made a resolution to give Double Cleansing a try, and I still haven't started yet. 
Please help me decide which cleansing oil/balm should I get so that I can continue doing this and not regret later.

▪️Cons 
🍊 It Contains Essential Oils. 😶

🍊 I did face a little dryness around my Undereye area. 

🍊 A Little Expensive in my opinion. 🙄

▪️PROS
🍊 The serum’s main ingredient is 70% Green Tangerine Extract (Vitamin C), Niacinamide, Arbutin. 😍

🍊 It did not cause any purging or any breakouts. 👍🏽

🍊 My face looked healthier, brighter than before. It Definitely gave me a GLOW. 🤩

🍊 Now Consistently using for more than 3 WEEKS now, my brown spots has got lightened. It smoothend the skin’s surface to reduce dullness. This helped to lighten my pimple marks and brighten my skin&#39;s overall complexion 

▪️PACKAGING - 
🍊 It comes in a yellow glass bottle which gives it a luxurious feel. 💖

🍊 It comes with a Pump Packaging. 🙌🏽

▪️TEXTURE -
🍊 The serum is of a thicker transparent gel-like 
Non-stick consistency, but it is not tacky. 😊

▪️ HOW I USED IT - 
🍊 I started using it on my AM routine. The application of the Serum was so beautiful on my face, absorbs very quickly. It did not leave any tacky residue on my face. It feels lightweight and it sinks into my skin so well. 

🍊 First Week I used the Serum mixed With the Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Cream and I really enjoyed using them together. Followed by a generous amount of Sunscreen. After the First Week, I&#39;m just using the Serum Alone followed by a moisturizer + Sunscreen.

🕷 * HOLY GRAIL ALERT * 

▪️MY EXPERIENCE 
🕷 I use it in my PM ROUTINE all over my face avoiding areas around my eyes. Very light weight. I use it on DRY SKIN after after washing my face with a gentle facewash, wait for 20-25 mins and then follow it with a hydrating toners&#47;essence (optional) and then apply a generous amount of my Moisturiser. The application of the toner was so beautiful on my face, absorbs very quickly, sinks into my skin so well within few seconds. 

▪️PROS
🕷 Beautiful Water like texture,  easy application on my skin. 

🕷 Beginner Friendly &amp; Budget Friendly ( it will easily last you a year if you twice a week )

🕷 Very Short Ingredients list - Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water (Controls oil and calms the look of redness), Butylene Glycol, Betaine Salicylate (Fights bacteria and decongests clogged pores), Niacinamide (Brightens skin and improves the appearance of pores) , 1,2-Hexanediol, Arginine, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Ethyl Hexanediol.

🕷 Very Hydrating. Salicylic Acid is usually drying but I woke up with a hydrated moisturized and plump skin everytime I used this.

🕷 My Skin loves BHA, so I see results pretty quickly. Just after 4-5 uses, most of my blackheads disappeared. My skin felt clearer and healthier.

🕷 Excellent For Oily&#47;Combination Skin.

🕷 As I have used BHAs before it did not cause any purging or breakouts.

✨ has a mild citrusy fragrance ( almost goes unnoticed to my nose )
✨ it did comes off with sweat on some hot humid days 🥲

- gives a beautiful subtle GLOW with consistent use 
- fights pigmentation 
- ideal for sensitive skin and beginners 

▪️Cons
🥥 It Definitely does have BLENDIBILITY issue especially when applied on dry skin or when layered with different products 😶

🥥 It doesn&#39;t fulfills everything it claims. It&#39;s not very Hydrating&#47;Soothing.

▪️MY SUGGESTIONS
🥥 APPLY IT ON DAMP SKIN.

🥥 Don&#39;t expect too much from it, it&#39;s a very decent basic no-fuss Moisturiser.

▪️PROS
🥥 The Moisturiser main ingredients are Sepicalm 3%, Polyglutamic Acid, Oat extract, Colloidal Oat, Squalane, Vitamin B5 and Amino acid 

🥥 Very Affordable.

🥥 It did not cause any breakouts or pilling.

🥥 My face looked healthier, my skin loved this Moisturiser.

🥥 Combination - Normal Skin People will enjoy this more than other skin types.

▪️TEXTURE -
🥥 The Moisturiser is of a thick whipped cream consistency.

🥥 It&#39;s not light enough for Oily Skin and Not Thick enough for Dry Skin., it&#39;s somewhere in between.

▪️ HOW I USED IT -
🥥 I started using it on my PM routine. I mostly used it on DAMP SKIN after applying all my hydrating toners&#47;serums, as you should with most of your Moisturisers, followed by Squalane Oil. The application of the Moisturiser was so beautiful on my face, absorbs very quickly. It does feel a little greasy for like 1 min but then sinks into my skin so well.

🥥 On days of Chemical Exfoliation and Tretinoin, after washing my face, I pat dry my face and wait for 5-10 mins for it to be completely dry. I then apply my BHA&#47;AHA OR TRETINOIN (not on the same day, do not use Tretinoin and BHA together) on DRY SKIN, wait for 15-20 mins and used this Moisturiser.
