The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I didn’t personally find it hydrating enough. Even though I have oily skin, I still felt like I needed something more after using this as my only moisturizer. I would reccomend thinking of this as a wonderful, soothing serum with lots of benefits (and then put a thicker moisturizer on top 💛) 

I loved using this product!! It was incredibly soothing and felt very nice to put on my sensitive skin. It did not make me oily and left a very nice finish that was easy to layer. I also highly reccomend putting it in the fridge—it feels lovely in the hot summer! 

That being said, it is pretty drying. I only use it to reapply and even then I can only use it about twice a day before my skin feels too dry. If you’re gonna use it for oil control like me just make sure you have a lot of other hydraying products in your routine! 

I personally love this because I have extremely oily skin and nothing in my life has ever absorbed oil better than this. It’s a cream to powder formula (which is just as weird as it sounds) but I love using it cause it always leaves my skin very matte. 

So for one, it is scented, which could be irritating for some people (although it didn’t bother me). Also, I have found that if I try to reapply with throughout the day it does build and make my skin a little darker. That being said I love using it as my base in the morning! Lastly my biggest problem with it is that it’s not that cheap. It’s over 20 bucks for a product that will only last you a few weeks at most, which was pretty frustrating to me. 

I have pretty oily skin and I would say that this controls the oil pretty well! It’s not completely matte but it’s not too dewy either. The tint provides some coverage for hyperpigmentation but (for me at least) it sinks in and becomes relatively invisible.
