Hello! I have this concern for awhile, I saw a lot of people swear and recommend to use retinol for better and glowing skin. My skin used to be so bad, you name it, inflamed acne, tiny bumps, I think I've also suffer from fungal acne at some point. Ok but now, my skin has become clearer, only few hyperpigmentation here and there, and I rarely got any breakout anymore which I'm grateful with. Thus I don't want to suffer from any purging caused by retinol. So is it worth it? or should I try other actives instead?

Should I try retinol?

I have bad history with hyaluronic acid because it makes me breakout consistently. So I try to avoid this ingredient as possible. Can anyone suggest any serum that’s good for acne hyperpigmentation that doesn’t contain hyaluronic acid?

🤎 the downside is that the packaging is not travel friendly as it's made of glass. and the scent of tea tree might be overwhelming to others

💚 this serum has thick gel-like texture, at first glance it seems heavy but then it spreads and absorbs really well into the skin. Doesn't feel sticky after layering with other products.

💚 I can say it's the most calming serum that I've ever tried. It lives well to what it claims. This serum is a combination of the start ingredients like vitamin E, Gezola and 72% tea tree leaf extract that non irritating and calming, which is my skin love and seek for everytime it feels irritated. (helps a lot with calming down  hormonal breakout too!)

💚 If you suffer from breakout, excess sebum, or irritated skin, this serum is a must have in your skincare stash.  

Some people may not like the tea tree (?) fragrance

Hellooo holy grail! Love everything about this toner! Im on my fifth bottle because it&#39;s that good for my combination skin 😆💕 Quite thick texture but easily blended into the skin and doesn&#39;t feel heavy at all!  I&#39;m super happy with the prolonged result which calms down my skin, makes my dull skin smooth, a bit brighter and soothes acne too!

As it’s a gentle exfoliant, the product took a while to see full results especially on blemished skin.

Haruharu wonder always stood out to me for its naturally derived ingredients, vegan friendly and cruelty free brand. Will this be another hit from them after their black rice toner? 🥺

First of all, I’m excited when I found out this product has Cica in it. Hence, I know it wouldn’t be irritating or causes inflammation on skin! And I’m curious how the PHA and Vit C will work out together in one product 

As for the texture, it falls more into toner texture to be honest. The product has light watery formula that absorbs easily into the skin.

I’ve only been using for 2 weeks in my night routine, the most I can see is its brightening effect and give the skin glowing complexion upon waking up in the morning, You know for sure the dead skin cell on the outer layer of the skin was reduced thanks to the vitamin C and mild 3% PHA. 
As for skin blemishes and pores, all I can say it slowly but surely 🙌 

Generally I like this serum, might’ve even replace my old exfoliant. I will definitely keep using these in my routine now 

-Although other than that, I’ve yet to see it’s benefits to my skin from its promised ingredient
-Some reviewers mention that it has no smell but for me, out of sunscreens that I’ve tried, the sunscreen has chalky smells, but I got used to it after awhile.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS SUNCSCREEN: 
-light and creamy texture 
-It blends and absorbs pretty fast but it tends to feel a bit feel heavy on skin if you layer to much product or when it’s hot outside. But my, my, I like the how this sunscreen gives glowy effects to my skin

-I wish their ingredient are more acne friendly, especially to those who have issues of fungal acne

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:
-I was expecting an occlusive and creamy consistency, but this sleeping pack has a gel texture which gives soothing effect to the skin, and doesn’t make you feel greasy at all
-This product delivers what it promises as you will wake up with healthier hydrated skin. I keep wanting to use this product every night 😆💗
