Skincare isn't always about using layers of products. It also includes maintaining a healthy lifestyle and and an overall routine. Here are some of MY OWN routine essentials. 

1. Changing pillowcase every week, bedsheets and blanket every 1-2 weeks. 

2. Taking a shower every night. 

3. Try to incorporate veggies at least one meal every day. If veggies are too difficult to get, at least a fruit. 

4. Drinking minimum 8 glasses of water. (I use an app to track my water intake.)

5. Minimum stretches everyday. A full workout or exercise 2x a week. 

6. Meditation. I usually go for 2-3 minutes per nught before sleep. 

7. Lastly, prioritizing my happiness. 


These habits are maybe the bare minimum but maintaining them in my routine helped me with my overall well being and ofc skincare in general.

Uf i were to nitpick, since this a watery toner, i tend to squeeze out a lot of product and if you are like me who&#39;s not a fan of putting toners on cotton pads, placing the product on your palm may be a bit messy since it&#39;s watery so you tend to get it spilled.

I purchased the 3 variants of Cosrx Toners (HA, Propolis and VitC) and i consider this one to be the 2nd in place. I specifically use this during my AM routine since Vit C helps on protecting the face from the sun and it is recommended to use it such time. I haven&#39;t experienced any drastic improvements with this toner but i can say it keeps my skin barrier protected and hydrated even after putting makeup but doesn&#39;t leave it tacky nor oily. Also, i really appreciate how affordable this toner is yet you get a lot of product that other brands price a lot.

Overall, if you are looking for an everyday toner that wont do any harm this one&#39;s a must try. Mild, calming, even gives protection and Vitamin C plus at a very cheap price, this one&#39;s a steal.

It has a faint smell that i personally dont like.

This serum is a mild lactic acid superficial peeling formulation. The 5% concentration offers very mild exfoliation and is supported with a purified Tasmanian pepperberry known to reduce signs of inflammation and sensitivity that is often associated with exfoliation. 

On Deciem&#39;s website, they recommend to use the serum once daily. Personally, though, I would recommend  using it 2-3 times a week. Since this is an acid product, it is better to slowly build up your skin&#39;s tolerance with the acid concentration. 
I used to have a bit of flakiness around my nose and chin, but after using this product for almost 2 weeks, I noticed how it helped reduce the flakiness and texture on these areas. Results are even visible after 2-3 applications. Thankfully, I never experienced any purging or skin irritations while using the item. Since the serum is more on the watery formula, the skin absorbs it fast and it leaves no stickiness nor tacky feeling which makes it perfect for your night-time routine. Overall, as a first time chemical exfoliant user, this item is a 10&#47;10. ❤️

Plus!! The packaging which is in a frosted small bottle is so cute and aesthetic.

While I already elaborated it’s benefits, the main drawback with this item is it’s price. It retails for 40USD (approx P1800++) which is quite hefty for the pocket. But if money is not a concern, I would really suggest you get it. 😉

I’ve always shown interest and love for Korean brands for many reasons and one of which is the way they incorporate natural ingredients and curate a formula that showcases the benefits of these ingredients and how it helps dealing with numerous concerns. Mugwort is a staple ingredient in many Korean beauty products. For a little information, Mugwort is a herb that is known to soothe sensitive skin, treat dry skin, slow down aging. Other known benefits are an an antibacterial, antifungal, anesthetic ans advanced skin calming.

Now that we know what this miracle ingredient does, let me introduce the I’m From Mugwort Essence to you skincare products dictionary. The highlight of this product is when you scan through the list of ingredients, you will only see 100% Artemisia Princeps Extract, yes that’s right, this essence is launched as a single-ingredient product. Perfect for those with highly sensitive skin or simply concerns for basic hydration and anti-inflammatory care. 

The Mugwort line from Im From was so hyped and loved by many especially the Wash off Mask product which made my expectations for this product pretty high. I did test this product substituting my toner then top it off with my regular moisturizer just to see if it really works. 

Lately, I experienced some mild irritations (small forehead bumps) with testing different products almost every 2 weeks, and this took a toll in my skin. Which is why receiving this product came handy. I immediately applied this product the night I received it and what I noticed was its very water texture. This product has the same texture like most toners and it absorbs faster than any toner I had. I guarantee you won’t feel any tackiness after application. As for soothing properties, it’s a hands down. It reduced the appearance of tiny bumps and calmed the area. It also helped with soothing my skin from my recent beach trip. If you’re looking for a multi-functional product, it will also do the job. 

Packaging:
VERY SLEEK!!! the glass bottle makes it very aesthetic and expensive-looking. Looks good even as a display item.

You get A LOT. Which is really good as you get your money&#39;s worth.

Loved it so much!! I bought the mini version first since i wanted to test out how it works on my skin and i am impressed! I havent seen yuja as a fruit personally but the damn the scent feel so good. I also liked how it gives my skin hydration and leaves it plump and looking si glowy. It does help in brightening some of my discoloration esp in the forehead. Overall i really liked this item and I might purchase the full size of this very soon.

My main concerns tho would be how messy the dropper is in dispensing the product as I noticed that upon closing the lid, the dropper tends to spill a lot of product which is a bummer since we all wanted to save as much product right? Plus it&#39;s quite expensive for me

In my experience, I immediately noticed the soothing effects of this ampoule. The formula  delivers enough hydration and consistency, making the skin instantly supple. I sometimes skip using moisturizer when using the product as it feels like the skin already has enough moisture locked in. 

Apart from it&#39;s hydrating effects, the core claim with the product is it&#39;s anti-aging effects. With the 7-layer Dual Biome Complex and the combination of Adenosine+Niacinamide as it&#39;s main ingredients, the ampoule claims to restore and strengthen skin barrier’s integrity as well as minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Although I still can&#39;t attest it&#39;s anti-aging properties with my current skin conditions, I do know that the probiotics in the formula will stimulate collagen synthesis—just what our skin needs to ward off visible signs of premature aging. Well it&#39;s more on a a preventive step, warding off aging before it actually happens. 

A little TMI is I actually gave 1 to my mom as I received an extra bottle and she likes it. In her experience she said it makes her face look bright especially the morning after. She also likes layering it over her undereye to make the area supple thus reducing the appearance of fine lines.😊
