Ever since WFH and with the pandemic, I'll be honest, I haven't been putting SPF on my body. I used to be do this to protect my skin from sun exposure when commuting to work or going out. 

Now, I only apply SPF on my face (only when I will be staying near the window for a long time).

Hey guys! 

Been reading through a lot on skincare. Just found out that we need to coat our skin with 2mg per cm sq. of spf in a smooth, continuous layer.

The three-finger method is a popular way to estimate the amount of spf to apply. I have been seeing this a lot in social media. 

However, Dermatologists recommend 1/2 tsp to apply to your face and neck (1/4 tsp for face, more may be required if you have a larger face). Because of this I started to doubt if the three-finger method was good enough to get the adequate amount.

I compared both ways in my IG and have decided that I will just use a proper measuring spoon to get atleast a bit of consistency.

I am curious: how do you measure the amount of spf you apply to your face and neck? Do you guys use the measuring spoon? Three-finger method? 🤔

My only gripe is that this product is geared towards oily skin types, it need more moisturing ingredients for me.

I was really surprised how very elegant texture is! It melts on the skin and super lightweight! It absorbs really quickly into the skin! The pump
packaging is really convenient, I appreciate packaging that comes in a tube or anything that has a pump. 

I was really shocked how It was able to visibly fade my hyperpigmentation around my eyes with only 5% niacinamide. I have tried several serums with higher concentrations of niacinamide but it was only this serum that worked for me. I use 2 pumps everyday, in the morning and at night. I saw results after 6 weeks.

Obviously this is a repurchase for me! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to lighten hyperpigmentation of even out their skin tone.

I still get some waterproof mascara on my lashes. Just a little bit. I find that letting this sit on my skin for a while helps remove stubborn makeup easier.

This is probably one of the most affordable cleansing balms out in the market! I bought the 120g and it is such a bang for your buck! It took me months to finish this. I also like how it is NOT a screw type lid that you need to twist off to get into the product. It makes it easier for me.

The texture of this one feels like a sorbet and it melts into my skin into an oil. It can be chunky if you use too much. Applying this to my skin is not a drag. It glides into my skin very well. It also dissolves makeup decently. You can detect a citrus scent in this product. Personally it does not bother me. It did not sting nor cause any sensitivities to my skin even when I have breakouts.

It was very easy to wash this product off. It turns into a milky color when it get in contact into water. I washes off effortlessly without leaving any oily residue. This also doesn&#39;t fog my vision when washing it away.

My skin feels refreshed and clean without the stripping feeling! I love it. I love it for its performance, packaging and pricetag! Definitely a repurchase.

When the new brand ELMT launched their first four products, my eyes went straight to the Skin Activating Solution. With its 58% Green Tea Extract and 14.7% Chinese Skullcap Extract, the brand claims that this solution will reduce inflammation, improve skin’s moisture barrier to strengthen skin.
I have tried this on my dry skin for only a week but here are my thoughts so far:

🌿 The ingredients lists is comprised amazing skin caring ingredients:
58% Green Tea Extract - anti-oxidant, anti-aging
14.7% Chinese Skullcap - anti-oxidant, improves moisture barrier
Glycerin - humectant
Lactobacillus Ferment Filtrate (Pear, Pomegranate, Soybean) - skin barrier strengthening
Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate (Barley) - increase nutrient absorption, humectant
Panthenol - hydration, anti-inflammatory
🌿 I use this in the AM and PM after cleansing my face as a toner without using cotton pads. I just pat the thin, watery, unscented, faint brown liquid onto my face using my hands. The liquid feels very nice upon contact. It sits for a while before sinking completely in a few minutes.
🌿 I didn’t notice any pilling while using this product, hence it is safe to say that this product layers well.
🌿 Leaves my skin feeling hydrated without the sticky, heavy feeling. I find that applying this on damp skin or layering provides a more pleasant experience (more hydrated?)
🌿 It&#39;s $20 for 150ml on Wishtrend&#39;s website. With its ingredients, I think it’s ok. Better but this during a sale event.

𝙈𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙨𝙤 𝙛𝙖𝙧..
This product provides me enough hydration for my skin during this hot and humid weather. I love using this especially in the AM, I think it goes well with my other antioxidant rich products. My experience has been nothing but pleasant to date. I have yet to notice its anti-aging benefits, with only one week of use, it’s too soon to say. I am looking forward to keeping on using this to reap its anti-aging benefits. I hope that this is able to hydrate my skin during cooler months where my skin is more dry. We shall see.

I really couldn&#39;t think of any bad things to say.

This was my first BHA product and I was so ready for my skin to feel stinging. Surprisingly, this did not. It was very gentle. It&#39;s a slightly viscous liquid that is easy to apply and spread to the skin. 

I have problem areas on my nose and my pores are usually congested and my sebacious fillaments are really obvious.  I use this product for a couple of nights straight so that the BHA can really get in there. I noticed that my sebacious glands are less obvious and they are more raised, like skin felt sandy in the morning. Washing my face help remove that sandy feeling and pores look more clearer, less obvious too! 

I have repurchased this bottle a couple of times and my skin rarely gets irritated by it. It does not dry out my skin which is a good thing.  I sometimes use this on active pimples too to help manage it. 

Overall I like this product. It&#39;s an effective BHA lotion that can really do wonders on blackheads, pimples and clogged pores. I highly recommend it.

Ahhh this product is moisture in a bottle! My skin has never been this plump. My skin feels deeply hydrated. It’s super lightweight too and is easily absorbed by the skin. It’s elegant to apply and layers well with other skincare products! 2-3 drops is enough to cover my whole face.

I use this on the nights that my skin needed a little more care (when using AHA&#47;BHA or Vitamin C). It was able to calm down the redness on my skin which I didn&#39;t know I have. My skin didn&#39;t experience any dryness whatsoever when I used this. Despite this having alcohol in the formula, i didn&#39;t experience any irritations nor did it aggrevate any prexisting irritations. 

 She is a keeper!
