I received these products from Picky for free in exchange for a review. Firstly, how ingenious is the packaging?? As someone who loses lipbalm all the time, I was very very impressed by the magnetic packaging and the built in keychain aspect of the product. I can now hang the balms off my bags instead of digging into my bag each time to find a lipbalm. The magnetic lid also means that the lid won't come loose and separate from the bullet. The shades I received were: Low-Key, Chilli, and Authentic. Starting with Authentic, I was expecting the pink shade to be non existent/very light on my lips, but I was very taken aback at how pigmented the product applied. For my skin tone, the product pulled a deep/hot pink colour which I liked more than I thought I would. Chilli is a very red-orange shade which applies very matte on the lips and can be built up in intensity with multiple applications. I'n enjoying this colour right now as it's very Autumn-coded. Low Key pulls a pink-peach shade which has a satin finish, and I think I would wear the it more in the Springtime. Like the others, you can apply multiple layers of this product for intensity. I really love lipbalms so this was the perfect giveaway for me, and I really enjoyed the experience of the innovative packaging and using tinted lipbalms. I normally apply balms with lipstick on top, so these products were a great all-in-one product.

I appreciate the fact that the balm is covered with protective plastic, so as to ensure freshness when you open the product. Not many jar lipbalms offer this protection. The balm itself is nice, though scented, and I also appreciated the SPF 20 factor which is one of the highest I've seen out of Carmex, Blistex, Nivea, Vaseline etc.

This is a very affordable drugstore lip balm from Nivea. It's nice and thick, so it's perfect for colder days, or using before bed. There's a fragrance of blueberries which is nice and not too artificial smelling. I like applying multiple layers and it doesn't leave your lips looking greasy or shiny.

Love love LOVE this lipbalm. Has SPF 15 for skin protection for the lips, comes in a handy stick which is a lot more hygenic than the jars, has a nice lime-y scent and is incredibly moisturising and occlusive. I applied this product before a 13 hour flight and reapplied it once during the journey.

This lip balm by Innisfree is very soothing and nourishing for the skin. It's made with green tea which helps to relieve dry and chapped skin, especially on the thin skin of lips. Appreciate the bullet format as jar isn't the most hygenic if you're out and about and haven't washed your hands.

Carmex is my go-to affordable lipbalm. It's such a thick formula which is perfect for the Autumn and Winter with added SPF benefits and provides moisture to your lips. Carmex® Classic Lip Balm Cherry Stick is the perfect addition to any handbag or nightstand in my opinion!

This balm is marketed as a "universal salve", meaning that you can apply it on the hands, body, lips and any other dry patches you might get. I use this balm primarily as a lip balm as I think it's very moisturizing. There's a very pronounced mango scent which doesn't smell too artificial, which I enjoy. The tube packaging makes it easier to dispense the product directly on the lips if you're out and it applies clear on the lips. Lipsticks can be applied after this balm, without making the lipstick look oily or greasy on the lips.

This vegan lip essence is formulated with cold pressed oils such as Argan oil and Jojoba Oil, among others. The product claims to deliver long lasting moisture, stimulate cell regeneration, offer UV protection, and prevent signs of aging. The product is thick without being overly greasy, and I couldn't detect any fragrance while applying it. The packaging is pretty hygienic in that you can apply this directly on your lips instead of using your fingers. I find this most helpful when I'm out and about and don't have access to wash my hands. Overall this is a nice lip product to have with you if you have dry lips like most of us do.

This lip sleeping mask is formulated with 99.9% naturally derived ingredients, including 5,000ppm of pure green tea powder and 1,000ppm of green tea seed oil which are both native to the island of Jeju. Other ingredients also include Squalane, Beeswax, Castor Oil and others. This mask is pretty thick and if you have dry lips like me, then it's perfect for sealing in moisture before bed. The ingredients are very soothing to the lips, and although its intended use is for night time, you can also use this as a daytime lip balm if you feel like you need extra coverage.
