It absorbs quickly by the skin and does not feel sticky at all. It gives instant cooling and calming effect on skin that makes it great for summer also. In night time it I did find that alone it was not mosturizing enough for me and I have oily skin so that's very new to me. So I layered with my Minimalist oat mosturizer at night. I don't notice drastic change in my skin but I do notice that my redness and itchiness became less. It is a lighter lotion/cream type that gives that burst of hydration after applying. Also there's no grey/white cast and it sinks in very quickly like a serum. The finish is very natural, not matte but certainly not overly dewy. It provides enough moisture for my oily - combination skin. It sets easily, so my skin doesn't feel heavy or sticky. It layers well and does not sting my eyes, i did not fetl any skin reaction at all! no redness, itching or breakout with 10 days of use. This Sun Serum is essential oil, drying alcohol and fragrance free, manufactured by Kolmar and has the same filters as the BOJ sunscreen but seems to have a lighter texture which some people may appreciate since some people find the BOJ to be heavy. In my opinion this sunscreen is so unique in texture . I have never tried Sunscreen with such texture. I would highly recommend this to all skin types even sensitive skin as it does not contain any EOs or Fragrance.
