This is a gel-like moisturiser that contains 58% Licorice Exosome and 100 million Licorice flavonoids. These help to calm down irritation while also locking in moisture, with a claim for 24 hours of hydration. Other great effects of this cream include fading hyperpigmentation, brightening the skin, reducing redness and it is also non-comedogenic. This makes it the perfect for acne-prone and sensitive skin types. As I am currently taking oral Isotretinoin my skin has been super sensitive, and I also have a lot of leftover scarring from old breakouts. This cream had definitely been effective at calming almy redness and soothing irritation. I am also noticing my acne scarring starting to fade more rapidly since I started using this moisturiser. In the mornings this sits really well under my SPFs and makeup. I think people with more normal to oily skin would appreciate this formula a lot more than dryer skin types. But, as I said, the results of the ingredients are quite apparent, so if you want these results or to try this cream out but are dry/super dry (like myself) then layering it with other moisturising products works very well.

The Cica Care Balm from Rovectin has been a favourite of mine for a while now (as have pretty much everything I have tried from them) 💓 The focus ingredients are 🤍 Calamine to ease irritation 🤍 Madecassoside (Cica) to reduce dark spots, heal and calm 🤍 Glycerin to lock in moisture This can be used instead of your regular moisturiser but I also like to use it in the last step in my PM routine, almost like a sleeping mask or similar to "slugging", to lock all of my previous steps in. The formula is silky and elegant to smooth across the skin and isn't greasy, shiny or tacky in any way. This has been an amazing product to use on my dry and sensitive skin while I'm roaccutane and I wish I had it prior to my treatment to calm my red and angry breakouts. As a little side note, I burn my finger on the inside of my airfryer a couple of weeks ago and it was really stinging and throbbing before I was going to bed. I was actually worried that the pain would keep me awake. I applied a thin layer of this over the top on the burn and almost instantly the pain was gone. This is such a gem and I can't speak more highly about it.

It keeps my face moisturised till morning, when I use it in the evening and doesn't leave me feeling or looking greasy when I use it in the day time. The packaging is made from post-consumer recycled materials and can be recycled again once finished 👏🏻

This is the Cica Regen Vegan Sun SPF50+ PA++++ from Dr Ceuracle and quickly become a favourite of mine! What I love about it ~ 💚 Lightweight 💚 Chemical filters 💚 Zero white cast 💚 Doesn't irritate my eyes 💚 Calming and soothing with Centella Asiatica extract 💚 Strengthen the skin barrier 💚 Moisturising 💚 Sinks into the skin 💚 No sticky finish 💚 SPF 50+ This also has a bunch of other brilliant ingredients, such as niacinamide, glycerin, adenosine and madecassoside, which can all do great things for the skin barrier and the overall look of the skin. This does have a herbal and slightly medicated scent to it but it is very pleasant and completely natural to the ingredients used, as there is no added fragrance or perfume. This is a guaranteed repurchase for me 🫶🏻

Not only does it live up to all the above mentioned claims, it sinks into the skin quickly, it feels moisturising but not greasy and it has an extremely subtle fresh herbal scent that disappears once it's applied.

This is a really nice gel cleanser that you only need a little bit of for it to foam up perfectly. I really like the natural fresh scent that it has and it has never made my skin feel dry or tight at all.
