I don't think it's an absolute must but definitely benefitial for those who struggle with sebum and clogged pores. And it's fun to smear your face with clay so win win 😊

AnneMarie - I have to somewhat disagree. It has different qualities than exfoliation and if it's too drying - you either need a different mask or you're leaving it on for too long.

It’s feels good. It does aid in keeping pores clean if you use it with Niacinamide, BHA or AHA
Is it a must? nope not really
but it does feel good though

i dont use clay mask because i dont think it’s an essential part of the routine

it’s a must for my oily skin !! I love clay mask so so much 😍 yes it’s essential in my routine, I mask at least twice a week with clay mask 😂😂 besides clay , I like to use mud mask too 😉

@coffeejelly maybe there were essential oils or something that irritated yr skin in the clay mask you used?
my skin reacted badly to the caudalie clay mask because of the EOs.
and yeah, there are milder ones available nowadays that doesn't dry up hard like oldskool clay masks.
