for me, heat is the biggest trigger, if i am super hot, or near the gas cooking that triggers it too. i use azelaic acid from the ordinary. it is awesome and goes well with other actives in your routine..

I find that wearing sunscreen and a hat daily helps with the flair ups. The sun seems to be a major trigger for me.

I have Rosacea also and my Holy Grail product for calming my skin down when I'm having a flare up (or any skin irritation) is Facetory's Artemisa toner. I spray that on and my skin calms down in minutes. Their Artemisia sheet mask is also very effective. (They don't have the products listed on Picky or I would tag them for you - you can get them at facetory.com though)

I don't suffer from rosacea myself but I've read that azelaic acid is good for that. I don't know if soothing ingredients like centella help to calm the redness?
Otherwise I do really like this serum with centella in it

Together with the rosacea I got super sensitive skin, wish aloe wasnt one of the irritants I avoid, also as funny as sounds my skin prefers chemical or mixed sunscreens, not mineral. Cica, mugwort, ginger, azelaic acid and PHA acid made difference for me. And yet everything depends on if my period is close, if I slept enough, how much stress I encounter atm, what I eat and drink.
