it is just a marketing term yaa, it really depends on how the company named their products. I do have watery ampoule and thick serum.

usually ampoule is more concentrated than serum 😊 

i think ampoules have a smaller molecule than serum, so it penetrates deeper into the skin. I read it somewhere long time ago.. so im not 100% sure
