Yes azelaic acid can be paired safely with BHA and AHA and even retinoids so there should be no issues using them together in one routine 😄 I do that most times too with my Cos de Baha Azelaic Acid serum ☺

i think its fine, as what i know azelaic acid is quite tolerable and pairs well with exfoliant (ive seen products with SA + Azelaic acid so i guess its fine) but still i suggest u to do research online as im not prof 😅
