I'm so confused about the role of suspension, is it considered as moisturizer? or is it more like serum in cream? And then which one of these products that recommended for acne prone skin?

IMO they go after moisturisers. I could be wrong, but I checked The Ordinary’s website and they suggest to layer product by the consistency of it.

Suspension means that it is a homogeneous formulation containing ingredients in different forms. For example, you can have solutes, oils, spheres, etc. I hope this helps 😊
