Any Retinol recommendation for beginners? 😍

I began using this gentle retinol around 2 months ago! I apply using sandwich 🥪 method: moisturizer> retinol> moisturizer

I went for this one when I first started, they also have one in squalane which is oilier and less drying. You should start with lower concentration 1-2x a week in the PM routine. Gradually increase the frequency to every other night. Avoid other irritating actives like chemical exfoliants in the same routine. You could also try a sandwich method (moisturiser-retinol-moisturiser) to prevent dryness and irritation when first starting. I would also suggest following up with a richer moisturiser - e.g. gel type might not be moisturising enough. And finally, be patient and consistent, it will take a while to see noticeable results.
