First things first, you need to make sure it is dandruff and not dry scalp. I was treating dandruff and making my scalp condition worse because I actually have dry scalp... the two things get jumbled up a lot! If it is dandruff, I believe Nizoral is really good for that. Some people also find benefits from using tar shampoos like the one from Neutrogena. Basically you antibacterial and antifungal ingredients to treat it.

Selsun blue, I find it actually treats the problem where with head and shoulders it just seem to take it away for a bit but not cure it. Also Selsun Blue has different formulation based on your hair type, for me my hair gets super oily (which is probably what causes my dandruff), and they have one for oily hair. The brand is basic but it does the trick, also let it sit on your scalp for a bit before washing out, at least a couple minutes. You can find it at any drug store or Walmart I'm sure.

I love using Nizoral when I spot dandruff, but Nizoral can cause some dryness so it's good to use strong moisturizing conditioner and mask - I love Kerastase Chroma Absolu conditioner and Gliss Protein+ Cocoa Butter Mask, Olaplex is great too, but it's good to keep it bit longer on hair like 1-2 hours. You use mask and conditioner only on length, not scalp. Once your dandruff is gone you can try using scalp scrubs to avoid dandruff, it might be also a good idea to change shampoo or if you sleep with wet hair - wash your hair in the morning or use hairdryer before going to sleep

This is just my advice for dandruff! My friend switched from a shampoo that she used for two months to another one and she got dandruff and she got back to her old one and instant disappear,Im trying to say that maybe when you find the right shampoo that matches your hair stick to it for a month two!🧡
