It depends.
BHA in face wash is a great way to introduce it to the skin and with certain formulation it allows some of it to remain on the skin. Similar to hair conditioner remains on the skin after you rinse it off from the hair, similar with with BHA in face wash.
While you can use a BHA face wash almost everyday, you may or may not need to use exfoliating toner everyday.
It all depends on the formula and how your face reacts to it.
See how your skin reacts with the face wash and if it is not providing you the result you need after a month, add on the exfoliant. It needs time for the skin to show result.
Sometimes you get more pimples but pimple that come out after BHA dissapear faster than usual.
I think it's still necessary because face wash only touches our skin for a while and then rinses with water, so the product doesn't stay on the skin for too long, and usually the function of face wash is only cleaning, not exfoliating, even though the ingredients are AHA BHA, but if I'm wrong, please correct me
Usually the concentration in a face wash is so low, especially since it’s not on the skin very long, so adding in a toner with a low percentage of BHA too can work! Just perhaps not for daily use, depending on how your skin does. Good luck! 💕
