Definitely retinol as it is scientifically proven by many many studies! Bakuchiol is only an antioxidant from plants that is marketed towards an alternative to retinol but that is extremely misleading as it does not work the same way at all as retinol.

i use both, and I will choose both, Many people say that bakuchiol is another version of retinol, and I think it's actually very different, the way they work is different but i love both of it
