I thought those can damage the skin, bruise you and break capillaries etc. I think it's much safer and effective to use chemical exfoliants.

I see what you meant, the suction on other devices causes bruising yes. I personally have a bad experience with pore vacuums. The one on this device is gentle and hardly turns my translucent skin pink✨💕

One has to be very careful with these microdermabrasion devices. Even though you say that the PMD is gentle, in general physical exfoliation devices can be much more rough on the skin than a chemical exfoliant. It is much safer to go with a light chemical exfoliant rather than jumping into a physical microdermabrasion device. The majority of people who I’ve talk to and who have purchased and used microdermabrasion devices, including the PMD, have regretted its effect on their skin. YMMV

So do I, I do think people are confusing dermaplane with microdermabrasion. These are gentle, the ones done by a dermatologist shoot crystals and are more abrasive 💕
