I think cleansing cloths containing some oil could be really effective with just a rinse after. But without an oil to break down dirt, sebum, and sunscreen/makeup I think cleansing cloths just smear things around.

I think it doesn’t really clean properly and I would suggest to do double cleansing with an oil cleanser or a balm first then your facial cleanser. It’s better than using a cloth because depending on how you do it, there could be tugging on the skin and could create pre-mature wrinkles. Here’s a few oil cleanser I’ve used and love:

I have her to use a cleansing oil because I have such oily skin. I see you too, have oily skin and suggest using cleansing oil/balm so it must not add oil to our oily skin..? 🙂

I honestly think it’s just personal preference. I don’t use any because I think they irritate my skin and don’t clean as well as I’d like.
but I know some people that swear by it

From my experience, yupp cleansing cloth not suitable for my face. It’s make my face feels dry and somehow uncomfortable too. I prefer use micellar water🤍
