hey yolls! recently I’ve developed a pimple on my back (it’s usually whiteheads? But never pus-filled pimples) and there are existing scars around my back too 😩

my back was alright all along until few months ago, any idea why? does the weather play a part too? I do shower everyday and try to keep my back moisturised w lotion (the parts where I can reach) and changing my bed sheets often as well! I went for a backne treatment few months ago and I don’t think it helped w anything :/

I’m slowly feeling insecure, I know it’s totally normal to have them, but still 😣any product recommendations or techniques that’ll reduce them? i appreciate u guys’ help 🥹

i’m not sure if it’s just me but i noticed my skin is better if i wear makeup regularly compared to wearing no makeup, only skincare… weird but i’ve been wondering for a while now does anyone goes through the same? 😂

not sure if it is the hot malaysian weather but pretty sure it is,  it’s making me breakout like never before :( red patches especially around the edges of my nose and lil whiteheads / pimples (?) appeared on my face and i’m frustrated!! the redness at the nose edges burns a lil when im applying skincare or makeup, is it dehydrated and sensitive? :(  i dislike putting on sunscreen or skincare in general then it ends up being wiped or washed over bc of the sweat! but how do i combat skin issues due to the weather? :(

My skin always feels so clean & moisturised after. It allows excess oil & makeup removal without taking away skin’s natural healthy oils! 

💛 Ampoule foam - my skin doesn’t feel dry after this! My skin feels moisturized, soothed & clean! I tend to be careful when it comes to cleansers as some might be drying for my skin hence leading to more acne / flakiness / redness. Keep in mind it is a slightly acidic foam cleanser with pH of 5! 

💛 Toning Toner - been using this religiously for the longest time & I love how it reduces redness on my skin especially parts around my nose / pimple area the next morning! I tend to use this with a cotton pad, since it’s a gentle exfoliating toner, it helps to remove dead-skin cells & sebum resulting to a visible smooth & brightened skin!

💛 Ampoule - this is yet another holy grail for me 😭 prior the product review I was using the Centella Tone Brightening line’s ampoule, as I have been using this for as long as I can remember so I decided to give that a try! Nonetheless, this ampoule is super light-weight, hydrating & settles quick into the skin without it feeling sticky! It is said to contain 7 times more soothing actives than other Centella asiatica.

💛 Soothing Cream - this is my first time using their moisturizer, and they did not disappoint. I have been a gel-based moisturizer girlie since my skin was leaning towards the oily, sensitive side. I need a moisturizer that’s not too heavy, yet hydrating on my skin! The texture of their current barrier cream is just right for me, not too thick or thin, it glides so effortlessly on my skin. Would definitely repurchase!

🖤 this brightens skin tone & promotes elasticity! I switch it up w the citrus unshiu + tremella fuciformis one when my skin needs even-ups 🤪 
🖤 blackberries removes active oxygen, preventing aging! serum is 4 times the effect of vitamin C, which is amazing
🖤 the yellow shade of the serum is a natural pigment derived from idebenone

💚 luv a good centella serum 😋 i use it when my skin feels sensitive due to hot weather & long periods in AC rooms, it soothes and hydrate the redness! 
💚 it’s anti-bacterial, great for wounds! It absorbs well without leaving any stickiness, my skin is always smooth the morning after 😉

💚 my first encounter w houttuynia cordata! it helps w skin detoxification & pore cleansing as it’s anti-inflammatory! 
💚 I do use tea tree oil on popped pimple often to keep bacteria at bay! hence, I’m glad this serum has tea-tree in it, win-win for me when I’ve breakouts! best part is it’s not drying at all but hydrating!

🌿 All Clean Balm by Heimish 🌿

my first cleansing balm! I’ve always used cleansing oil, thinking it would be more convenient, turned out that balms aren’t as tricky / messy as I imagined! (not my limiting belief without firsthand experience 😤) thanku heimish <3

🫧 this is honestly one of the best makeup cleanser i’ve used so far, the efficiency, top notch. it removes my makeup w just a small amount of balm, it melts so quickly, feels so good on the skin, emulsion is amazing too during water contact

☘️ since it’s a all-in-one cleanser, not only it wipes out waterproof makeup, stubborn dirt, it also help in melting away blackheads, sebum, dead skin cells and visible residue in between pores! it’s also claimed that double cleansing is not required 🤯

🧖🏼‍♀️ i loveeeee the mild herbal scent, it’s giving therapeutic 😩 since it has 10 natural vegetable essential oils, it moisturises the skin so well aside from the shea butter & coconut, which are already doing a fantastic job
