I found a mineral sunscreen that is zinc based and thought that it would be reef safe, but I read somewhere that nano zinc oxcide isnt reef-safe? Is that true? If so why?

These are the ingredients of the sunscreen i found:

Zinc Oxide (Nano), Aqua, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Titanium Dioxide (nano), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Dicaprylyl Ether, Cetyl Dimethicone, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Dimethicone, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Behenate, Glycerin, Shea Butter Ethyl Esters, Propanediol, Diglycerin, Alumina, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, "Isostearic Acid ", Polyglycerin-3, Citric Acid, Tocopherol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.

is nano zinc oxcide reef-safe?

Great for acne!! I need to keep using it to see more results but it works great. I have dry skin but I find that applying it after my moisturizer helps a ton!

Too thick. Can be pore-clogging. Face feels “dirty” when you use it because it is so thick.

Definately moisturizing. Non-stripping. Great for extremely dry skin. Great for dry places on body too.

Maybe a little too simple? Honeslty wish it hydrated and moisturized my dry and sensitive skin even more.

It doesnt overly strip your face, foams up nicely and doesnt irritate my sensitive skin.

(I have the one made for dry skin!) It is super moisturizing and does not leave the skin stripped at all. I love it for my dry and sensitive skin! Its also cheap.

It was not moisturizing enough for my dry skin. Needed to apply several layers, and woke up with dry patches the next moring.

Good overall, I reccomend it for normal to oily skin.
