Im looking to try mainly Korean brand products (but any are good) on yesstyle hut have no idea where to start. Im looking for products that would be good for my sensitive and dry skin. I also have acne-prone skin and do not want anything that would cause me to have any breakouts. Any advice and recommendations is greatly appreciated!!

To those who have ever purchased one of the monthly boxes from picky, is it worth it? I have been wanting to try one because they do look so exciting but shipping seems very expensive and just want to know if its worth the price. Do you think the products for some monthsa are just better than others, or relatively the same?

Is yesstyle a good website to buy korean products from? I looked through their website and their prices are cheaper than buying straight from the brand. Ive never bought any from them before and just wondering if they were a legit website.

Hopefully everyone who has wanted to find new skincare holy grails has!! I am wondering what are your favorite products of the year?, products that you would consider your holy grails!!

Some of my favorite products I have tried this year are the peach and lily power calm cleanser which is a perfect cleanser for sensitive/irritated skin. I also love the BOJ ginseng essence, it has been super hydrating for my skin and when I ran out of moisturizer for a few days, I was able to just use multiple layers of it and my skin stayed hydrated! I also love layering it under moisturizer. I also love the Dr Jarts ceramidin cream because it helped heal my dry and irritated skin barrier in only a week!! It is also perfect for me during winter when my skin is extra dry. Another HG for me is aquaphor because it makes my skin super soft and moisturizer after a shower and my skin would be so dry without it.

Favorite Products of the Year?

What are some facial oils you would recommend? I dont want any super thick oil. I prefer using thinner facial oils but dont know which one to get. I do not want it to cause any breakouts either, and it would be nice if it helped reduce breakouts, but that is not necessary as long as it does not cause any. 

Also, for anyone who has tried the haru haru fragrance free toner, the some by mi miracle 30 day toner, the im from mugwort essence, and the im from rice toner…which one would you recommend?

Facial oils?

🫧Scent smelled a bit like laundry detergent to me at first but fades quickly
🫧Because I have long and thicker hair, I felt like I had to use a lot to get results I wanted because of the foamy consistency

🐌 It does have a bit of a perfume-like fragrance but I actually like it, it isnt too overpowering and fades quick. It just smells very fresh to me but may be overpowering if you are supersensitive to scents
🐌 I havent noticed any differences in hyperpigmentation or fine lines but I will continue using it to see any results
🐌 Contains fragrance and even though I like the scent, I do prefer products without fragrance
🐌 Maybe a little bit expensive considering it contains fragrance and I havent seen any results for hyperpigmentation yet although I am very pleased with the finish it leaves on my skin, and is unlike other products that I use

🐌Ingredients Contain:
✪ Snail mucin: improves skin elasticity and protects from moisture loss
✪ Black rice: reduces inflammation and redness
✪ Aloe vera: to reduce and prevent UV damage

🐌Claims:
✪ To mjnimize fine lines and wrinkles
✪ To deeply moisturize and nourish skin
✪ Help with hyperpigmentation and a weak skin barrier
✪ Protect from external stimuli

My experience and opinion: 
🐌 Skin feels very smooth immediately after application and it leaves a very nice luminous finish on my face without looking greasy
🐌 Amazing gel-like texture that makes it easy to apply and absorbs quickly and doesnt feel sticky 
🐌 My skin feels soft and looks luminous still hours after application
🐌 Is a lightweight moisturizer that doesnt feel heavy
🐌 My skin looked visibly smoother 
🐌 The pump makes it very easy to apply 
🐌 Doesn’t make my skin feel greasy and doesnt cause any breakouts and many products tend to make me breakout
🐌 A lot less slimy than other snail mucin products

⭐️Overall, I found this to be a hydrating serum that made my skin feel and look very nice, so I would continue to use it and would recommend it to others as well.

⭐️Ingredients also include lavender oil so if you know you react badly to lavender oil I would not recommend for you to try it but I didnt have any issues with it personally
⭐️Mask can be a little drying so make sure to hydrate skin well after use

⭐️To use the mask, you must mix the powder with activator liquid and stir together, then apply the mixture with the brush that is included to your face and neck and wait for 10-15 minutes. After this wash off with warm water 
⭐️Each box comes with 8 dry powders, 8 activating liquid packets, and a brush
⭐️Ingredients include…
✪  Albumin - main ingredient - (found in egg whites) for skin elasticity, hydration, and lift saggy skin
✪  Centella Asiatica extract for soothing and moisturizing
✪  Aloe extract for soothing and calming skin
✪  Also contains propolis, niacinimide, and panthenol
⭐️Very easy to apply onto face 
⭐️It is a very tight feeling on the face after it dries on your face but it washes off well with warm water
⭐️Skin felt immediately softer and smoothed fine lines on face, and my pores also seemed smaller and tighter right after washing off the mask
⭐️Skin also felt more firm after washing off
⭐️Mask was fun to use because of the mixing and the feeling and it worked very well overall

Negatives…
- it did feel a little sticky immediately after application but 
- slightly strong floral fragrance when applied all over face
