I  don’t have any qualms with the mechanics of the dropper but I can see how this one be a source of irritation to some. Instead of squeezing a bulb, there’s an elevated button that you press to draw up a metered amount of product which in this case is half a dropper. Pressing repeatedly won’t allow for more product. If you want more, you have to empty the withdrawn amount first, reinsert the dropper and repeat the process.

ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʀᴏᴅᴜᴄᴛ: Banobagi Milk Thistle Repair Serum (30ml) 
A powerful serum charged with Milk Thistle, Centella Asiatica, Panthenol, Adenosine, Niacinamide, Madecassoside, Peptides and Vitamin E to provide relief and defense to stressed skin while also charging it with nutrients. 

ᴍʏ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs: 
The Milk Thistle Repair Serum is a lightweight, cloudy serum that appears viscous but let it touch your skin, as the moment it does, it breaks down into a watery texture, instantly runs and glides before eventually absorbing beautifully sans greasiness/tackiness. It’s completely free of any scent and settles with zero burden on skin. 

True to its claims, the serum works to soothe, heal, as well as deliver moisture and nutrition to skin. This brought quick relief to my irritated skin which came in the form of bumps and itchiness that became noticeably smaller and eventually disappeared. My skin took on a healthier appearance with continued use and even now that it no longer requires this serum, I still enjoy reaching for it. I just love that this has my dream texture, finish and the prowess to efficiently calm and repair skin.

I can see this one benefitting all skin types and working throughout the entire year. Dry skin might feel the need to tag on some extra hydrating products whereas I think those with combo and oily skin will be content with the hydration this provides. However do keep in mind, this functions more as a skin soothing and repairing serum than a hydrating one. 


Even with my moisturizer out of the picture, I still find the moisturization from this a bit overwhelming, especially for this time of the year. The glowy finish would compliment many as it gives that "lit from within" effect but it’s not the kind of look my oily skin chases. I find the finish a slight bit burdensome as it does cause my skin to be a magnet, mostly attracting hair to stick to my face which is quite difficult to fight off when I live in an incredibly windy city.

In case this review reads a bit more on the negative side, let me clarify, this is a nice sunscreen, just maybe not for the oily skin crowd, especially ones living in hot, humid climates.

While this doesn't make the cut for my go-to summer SPF, I think it would come in handy when my skin battles autumn/winter dryness.

ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʀᴏᴅᴜᴄᴛ: Sun Project Skin-Relief Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA++++ (50ml)

Formulated with a number of new generation, organic UV filters that claim high photostability which collectively offer strong protection from UVA and UVB rays. The formulation is reef-friendly and recommended to all skin types, especially to those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. 

ᴍʏ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs: 
Soothing, gentle and incredibly moisturizing are the attributes I would list for this one. The texture is lightweight and closer to being a watery lotion than cream. It's great for those who are seeking a formulation that is makeup compatible, causes no pilling and silky smooth to spread. It does initially apply with what appears like a moderate tone-up effect but that disappears once the sunscreen completely settles on skin. Like it claims, the product is incredibly gentle on skin and caused no irritation to my skin or eyes. 

There's no detected scent and while it's recommended to all skin types, I believe those with normal to dry skin would enjoy this one a lot more for its moisturizing properties. 

In short I think this is best for those looking for a white cast-free, moisturizing SPF with soothing properties. 

There’s nothing bad about this product. 

ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʀᴏᴅᴜᴄᴛ: Vegan Kombucha Tea Creamy Wash Bar (100g)

A low pH cleansing bar that functions as an all-in-one that can be used from head to toe. Formulated with key ingredients Coconut Acid, Corn Starch, Chestnut Powder, Camellia Sinesis Leaf Extract and Ceramide.
 
ᴍʏ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs: I’m insanely, utterly, madly in love with this product. Once greeted with water and lathered, the wash bar offers a texture that’s creamy, stringy and very slippery but so satisfying to use. I find it hard to get a copious amount of foam with bare hands but achievable with a foaming net. Despite checking in at a pH similar to our skin, I found this the least enjoyable on my face. It does cause a slight bit of tightness however works like a charm on my body but is absolute magic as a shampoo. This wash bar's sorcery gives me volume that was once only attainable through the magic of styling oil absorbing products. I love that it doesn’t dry out my hair and keeps my scalp from greasing up quickly. 

The only drawback to this is the way it smells. It has a very overpowering scent that smells mostly chemical. I can’t think of any other way to put it. 

A medium weight cleansing oil that promises to not only cleanse skin from the daily dirt and grime but also dissolve makeup and sunscreen as well.

The formula by Thank You Farmer is unique in that it uses a patented ingredient that supposedly fights dust and for those that live in Korea, it’s an herb you might actually consume on the regular with those slices of pork belly. Studies completed by Thank You Farmer shows that perilla leaves extract has the potential to protect skin from pollution and fine dust and that just a single wash will lift more than 94% of it. 

I enjoy using this daily in my PM routine. It dissolves all that I need it to, in addition it also removes blackheads swiftly. The formula also emulsifies and washes off with ease. It does not dry outmy skin once I remove it. Efficacy wise, this formula would be a 5/5 for me. 

ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʀᴏᴅᴜᴄᴛ: Soft Reset Green Cleansing Balm (100ml)

This sherbet cleanser contains a Green Calming Complex comprised of Shine Muscat, Green Apple, Blue Plum and Green Papaya Extract. The complex is loaded with moisture to help replenish skin after makeup, sunscreen and waste is removed. The cleansing balm boasts a beautiful pastel green that is all natural and is formulated without fragrance. 

ᴍʏ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs: I adore this product simply because it works. Firstly, I give it major props for not offending my nose (completely unscented). It transforms from balm to a waxy oil like texture effortlessly and gives me the dreamiest glide to work with. It melts makeup, sunscreen and impurities with grace and perfection and washes off without leaving a residue or stripping my skin of moisture. What really impresses me though is this cleansing balm’s effectiveness on removing sebaceous filaments. I was genuinely surprised as it’s not a part of the product claims and the effectiveness is on par with my favorite cleansing oil. 

This product is perfect from packaging to user experience. I know cleansing balms are recommended to dry skin because of their moisturizing properties but I assure those with oily skin that this is something our skin can enjoy as well. While I admit that I am #teamcleansingoil, I do think cleansing balms are badass for their ability to remove even the most stubborn eye makeup and of course for being super travel-friendly. I was able to recently travel without my eye makeup remover for the first time thanks to this cleansing balm. I’ve had zero issues with this stinging my eyes or irritating my skin. 

In a nutshell, I think this one is great for all skin types, a must try for those who enjoy cleansing balms. It's an effective product that works beautifully on skin. It's so difficult to find a cleansing balm that doesn't come loaded with fragrance or cause my skin to itch relentlessly but Hyggee managed to craft this work of art and my skin loves it.
