Finally received my SPF Picky box!

I’m very prone to hyperpigmentation (PIH) and since summer is around the corner I need recommendations for lotions/products for my legs. When I shave or wax I get random PIH spots where the damage was too intense. And I also have a mild case of KP with ingrown hairs. I mostly do nothing about it except for exfoliating once a week and applying TO Glycolic acid toner to help with ingrown hairs. However, I’ll need to show my legs soon 🫣and the dark spots just don’t vanish. Looking for something available in EU or on Yesstyle.

Nothing bad, just that the ingredients are a bit basic compared to the other similar feel toners I had. 

With just 7 ingredients, including the superstar astragalus root extract, this toner absorbs super quick. The texture is like a luxurious "fat" water, gliding on smoothly and leaving nothing behind. It absorbs really fast! It's perfect for sensitive skin, but one layer is not enough for dehydrated skin. Good thing it layers great on itself. It would probably be great for the glass skin effect. 
The amount is huge since you only need 6-8 drops for the whole face and neck.

At least for me the formula feels a bit oily and doesn’t fully absorb even though I don’t see any oil-based ingredients in the list. So, I tend to use it at night.

This is a new design set that I got to try out for the past 2 weeks. The Bifida Ampoule is a very hydrating and slippery formula with lots of ferment lysates and peptides for anti-aging. Thus, I have high hopes for it going forward. It also has niacinamide, which I hope will help combat my hyperpigmentation. 
I really like that it’s in a glass dropper bottle. It feels more luxurious ☺️

I tested the pH with basic tester strips and it doesn't look like it's truly 5,5. More like - 6 (especially when mixed with my hard tap water). I wish the cleanser would be more acidic to counteract the hardness of water. 

I won this cleanser on Instagram back in January and have been using it sporadically during summer, so I still have half a tube left. In the beginning I was not a huge fan of it, the smell seemed weird to me and I thought the foam would strip my skin. However, it kinda grew on me 😃
I only need a small amount for the whole face and it foams up into a very fine lather. It feels very velvety and dense. I don't wear makeup so I use it to clean the SPF in the evenings and it works great. Sometimes my skin feels tight, sometimes it doesn't, but that's the thing with all foam cleansers.
It doesn't contain fragrance 'per se' but it does have various plant extracts and pine tree oil, so that's where the scent comes from. It also has a small amount of BHA (0,2%), so if you leave the cleanser longer on the skin it could potentially help with pores and mild exfoliation.

TL;DR: I hoped for a smoother complexion, faster reduction of PIH and overall brightening  - didn’t get it at all.

🌧 After two weeks, I haven’t noticed any changes in the one prominent hyperpigmentation (PIH) spot on my chin, so the fact that it’s almost gone now is probably due to the whole cycle of skin regeneration that happened after a month. Other spots that were older haven’t improved at all. I also got quite a few new pimples all over the face and deep small cysts on my jawline. My “normal” is 1 pimple in two weeks. So I assumed it was some kind of purging, but it hasn't stopped in a month. I didn’t change any of my other products (I just opted out of using any exfoliating acids or other brightening products). I kept using my retinal though (it’s a low percentage and obviously does nothing for my hyperpigmentation 😅).

🤷🏼‍♀️ Since I don’t know what the percentage of niacinamide is in this, I thought that maybe I was getting too much of it, cause my sleeping pack also has it, and maybe it was making my skin irritated – but I doubt that now.

☀️I didn’t read any reviews or product descriptions before starting using this because I didn’t want to have any biases. But after looking at the huge bottle, pretty product texture, and ingredients list – I had high hopes. I’ve already tried a product with tranexamic acid and liked it a lot, so I was expecting the same results with this Brightening Capsule Ampoule. I actually liked the texture/feel/absorption of the product. It absorbed quite fast and I felt the real stickiness only after two whole pipette applications (see the 2nd video with sound on). However, it was sticky only for a couple of minutes and didn’t interfere with other products. I’ve used it for 32 days straight.  I started by using it once a day for the first week, and then (usually) twice a day. My results are somewhat visible in the photos. However, they are not what I expected.

It still leaves an oily residue/feeling even after absorption. I'd like it to absorb fully, but in general I don't mind it, cause I always follow up with an emulsion, moisturizer or sunscreen. However, I didn't find the ampoule life changing 🫣

It's called Noble Rot because its main ingredient is fermented grape extract that was fermented with Botrytis cinerea - a fungus that commonly infects grapes. The formulation also includes many forms of hyaluronic acid and adenosine for more intense hydration.
It has a dual phase that needs to be mixed before applying. I'm almost out of the product so the different phases aren't that visible anymore 😅 It spreads nicely, but has a distinct "rotten" smell about it - so be aware.
I don't have many skin complaints, so I used it mainly in hopes to maintain my natural skin microbiome. However, I don't think it would do much for aging skin, but it can be used as a support product for hydration.
