🕹️ First time I truly feel comfortable exfoliating my face! I always worry when I buy or use exfoliators - most physical exfoliants like sugar scrubs are too harsh while chemical exfoliators aren’t any better for my sensitive skin. This one is suitable for sensitive skin types💕🌸 but as always, remember to patch test 

The ONLY thing that would warrant me not to repurchase this is THE SMELL. It has a very strong powdery scent - like someone wore shea butter mixed with vanilla and sweated on a hot, humid day. I scoured the internet and saw someone describe this smell as ‘an amalgation of granny perfume and baby powder). I have tried re-applying it 3 times and have concluded that although it gave me a headache everytime I reapplied it, the smells does fade after awhile.

Price-wise, it’s not cheap for a lip balm but I got it on sale so no complaints on that.

It is a balmy type which really feels rich on my very dry lips, not as waxy as I thought. I like how it feels on my lips and also doesn’t have any taste (we often eat the lipbalm we’re wearing when we’re licking our lips).

I hope Wishtrend would reconsider the product design. As the packaging is a 30ml glass bottle that fits nicely on my palm, I tend to unscrew it single-handedly. Almost dropped it on my first night as the glass bottle became very slippery if my hands are not completely dry. It was also hard to unscrew the product's stopper due to the shorter stopper's height where we twist & unscrew. A pump design or alternatively, another type of glass or stopper material would be better instead.

The Cera-barrier Soothing Ampoule is one of Wishtrend's latest releases for 2022. Formulated with 10,000ppm of ceramide NP & squalane respectively, its also contain 69% of cica & 7 types of peptides to improve the skin barrier. This star-studded formula also incorporates the opinions of 932 wishtrenders as a community.

This mildly-scented ceramide ampoule has a milky & somewhat viscous texture. While it dries down matte, the ampoule feels silky on skin when applied.

Instead of spreading it into skin, I found that patting it in following the recommended instructions yields a faster & more effective absorption.

If you prefer spreading it instead, a little goes a long way so around 1-2 drops are great for the whole face. 

My skin feels well-moisturised after it settles down. My sensitive cheeks adore its soothing effects so I think this will be be a great addition to my routine since I did not experience any redness or sensitivities. 


the cushion with bakuchiol👀🪻

I was so excited to try this cushion since it contains bakuchiol (the vegan alternative for retinol) while my bf was mainly interested in this because in his words: “the cutest cushion you own”.

the highlights of this cushion are definitely 3 things imo: 
⭐️contains bakuchiol (new to me)
⭐️hygienic dispenser (the second i’ve seen this in kbeauty during this cushion’s launch)
⭐️cartridge refill (never seen this before either)

👼🏻 the coverage is buildable with a satin glow finish (semi-matte + the glow from its 76% moisture essence). it looks pretty natural & manages to covers my red cheeks nicely. Doesnt oxidise & longevity is pretty good at around 5-6 hours. There is a slight transfer but very minor imo.

There’s something about the cushion puff - the fixing power is good as you pat, pat, pat✨

18C SEASHELL (pink toned)
21N ERBORIAN (nautral toned)
23W BISQUE (peach toned)
27W PEACH (warm toned)

they run on the lighter side so i suggest going one shade lower than your usual. i’m a normally a neutral 21-22 but am using 23W in the reel. it isn’t too warm/orange on me but i do hope they will come out with more shades like 22/23N for the perfect match.

👼🏻last tip: for demonstration purposes, i dispensed a few pumps in the reel. IRL press the dispenser lightly for half a pump, swirl my puff on the liquid & pat! & add another half pump later as needed.

✨update: i did find that it patches slightly near my nostrils if i didnt moisturise properly beforehand + air-conditioned room.

🌿 MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
I’d first heard about this brand from Soobeauty who recommended it for bumpy skin and the no.3 serum series got stuck in my head because she mentioned it was also called Bodlebodle Repair Serum. 

For texture, it was not as viscous as I initially expected but it was rather a light liquid texture which absorbs quickly. 

I’m going to to use this product for pore-care around my cheeks and update this post after starting my 2-week regime of using this serum exclusively.
