Hi everyone! I've read a lot of beginner's post lately that are asking if they might have over exfoliated because their skin worsened after starting a routine. I saw this Instagram post that might help you identify if you have over exfoliated.

Is eyecream only for under eyes? I haven't seen much people applying it on their eyelids. Do you think it is okay to apply it over the eyelids too? Especially the one with retinol?

I have read that a lot of here would apply their products on their skin by patting it rather than spreading it in wiping motion and lettting it dry before applying the next.

What I would originally do was to spread my products in a very gentle rubbing motion, pat it for a while and leave it to dry. Now, I would pat my products from applying it until it gets dry. Since then, I am noticing significant differences. My moisturizer would last longer and my cheeks does not feel tight when the day is about to end. I have also started to notice that I feel and look brighter like I have a new product on my routine.

Simple things like patting in my products could really make a difference in my skin.

Patting Your Skincare

I have always read good things about Australian sunscreen because the sunscreens in their country is strongly regulated. I also saw that there are a lot of sunscreens in there that are very cheap.

I have bought Woolworths Everyday Sunscreen. I had it shipped here to PH. It's really cheap considering that I paid for shipping fee and the online I bought it from added their profit that is 3 times the actual price.

What do you think of this one? Is it worth it?

After asking Picky for Vitamin C serum recommendation, I picked this one because it is the most recommended one. I bought this online for 650 pesos (approx. 13 USD) on Shopee Ph. This one&#39;s a bit budget friendly for a student like me.

After using it for a week, here is my review. Might edit this weekly for two months to see the real result. 

How I use it:
The consistency is like any other serum which is a bit runny but only a hint of viscosity. The color is quite orangey and its scent is like when you smell a slice of lime. This reminded me of the time I used to rub pure lemon on my face when I was a teenager. I apply this on damp skin, directly after showering because I don&#39;t use toner in the morning. 

Effects on my skin:
My skin absorbs it quite fast. This is my first time using Vitamin C and serum so when I applied it, my face became warm and reddish but I didn&#39;t feel any stinging or burning sensation. However, the warm feeling gradually disappears every time I use it.

Week 1:
The most immediate result that I observed after applying this is that it plumps up my skin and temporarily removes mini wrinkles under my eyebags. After a week of using it, my scars brighten a bit. This seems to be a promising serum for a beginner. I hope to see more results soon.

Week 2:
This seems to be working too well in a few weeks for me. My mini wrinkles seems to permanently fade unlike my first week where my wrinkles would show after washing  it on my night routine.

I updated my photo below. The first pic was taken before I started using the serum and the second pic was taken after using it for 3 weeks.

Week 3-5:
Nothing new happened. It just continues to plump up and brighten my scars.

Week 6: 
I think the brightening effect slowed down. Nothing changed since my last week but the plumping effect from the hyaluronic acid is still present. I can&#39;t update the pic because I had acne on my cheek and that could be misleading to my review readers.

There is only a very slight inconvenience when I use it because it is too small for my face and it also keeps on slipping that I had to always pull it up from the forehead from time-to-time so I guess it is best to use it while relaxing and laying down.

This is a very lovely mask overall though.

I really love this one because I feel like this gives me instant brightening effect and hydration that is why I use it in the AM. It has a lot of essence too so I use the excess in the packaging on my neck and chest. This doesn't make me feel greasy after some time too.

It comes in a tub so it is not so hygienic but it can easily be remedied by using a cosmetic spatula or by making sure that your hands are clean before dipping it in.

Talk about holy grail morning moisturizer. This Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Gel is a saviour. It comes in a very big tub for an affordable price. The packaging looks extremely simple and minimalistic but don&#39;t let that fool you in to thinking that the quality of this moisturizer is poor.

It is lightweight and the moisturizer breaks into my skin like water upon application. I transfer some into a smaller tube and refrigerate it so when I use it, the cooling effect makes me feel 10x more refreshed. It is also a good technique to de-puff your face in the morning. The moisturizing properties lasts me all day plus my sunscreen is also moisturizing so that&#39;s a plus. It plumps up my skin even more after I started using it with  hyaluronic acid serum.

It takes a while to sink and it can be sticky. I can only use this on dry season or when my skin feels extremely dry.

♥️ I have always wanted to try this ever since I started my skincare journey. I have dry flaky skin this dry season and peeling gels are my favorite exfoliant because they always leave my skin feeling moisturized.
