Hiii, I never had any experience on using retinols and these days, I've been eyeing on some products to start with. 

I am specially drawn to the IOPE 0.2% retinol. Does any of you have any experience with this brand? 😅 When I checked the price, the range was PHP3,500-4,000 (about $70-$80) for 30mL. Is that the usual price of retinols? 😢

Can you suggest other brands that are more affordable? 😅 From Korean skincare brands please if you know any. 😬 Or maybe any brands except the ordinary, the inkey list, paula's choice, cerave, or olay. 😅😅

Personal Experience:
My absolute favorite! I had high expectations with this SPF because of the hype and it just easily exceeded my expectations. By far, one of the greatest sunscreens I tried. It has a semi-matte to natural dewy finish (it depends on the weather). My face doesn’t look too oily or shiny throughout the day. No whitecast, doesn’t sting my eyes even when I sweat or rub my eyes, doesn’t feel sticky, no chalky feeling, no pilling, and no uncomfortable feeling. This is very lightweight that I don’t even feel like I applied something on my face yet moisturizing enough. I can say, this really deserves all the hype it’s getting!
 
Overall, this is such a great product that is suitable for all skin types!

I want to repurchase this one but the only downside is the high price point. As I am still a student, I honestly find it expensive. I might look out for sale though.

-It has a thick yet runny consistency.

Scent:
-Noticeable ginseng smell. It's not overpowering but lingers for quite some time.
-I can see on the wishtrend website and other reviews that this product contains fragrance, however, it's not listed on the box I received. I assume they removed the fragrance.

Packaging:
-Comes in a 30mL glass bottle with a dropper.

Personal Experience:
I've been using this serum for about 7 weeks now and I find it very nourishing on my skin. Though it has a thick consistency, it absorbs pretty fast. At first, I thought this doesn't do anything to my skin, but after using it consistently for weeks, I can definitely see that it helps make my skin look plump and soft. It takes time, patience, and consistency to see its results.
A little goes a long way for this one since I can't dispense too many as it tends to get sticky and heavy. This product also claims to help in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, but I can't attest to that since I don't have such concerns. Other than that, I love this serum! I find this product helpful in adding moisture to my skin. 

Recommended to all most especially to dry skin types except for those who don't like ginseng/herbal scents.

This ampoule claims to be calming but as a stand alone product, I cannot really rely on its calming properties since it doesn’t calm my skin that much. If I am using actives, I would still use my other calming products since I don’t think that this ampoule is enough. 🥲 Review is still subject to change though and I will continue to observe it.

I have been using this product for a week and true to its claim, this ampoule is very hydrating yet super lightweight. This is a good addition to my routine since my skin needs hydrating products, and I love how it absorbs fast without any sticky nor greasy feeling. It does not really calm my skin but hydration wise, it’s really great. I love using this ampoule during my AM routine together with my niacinamide serum. I don’t look as oily as before even in a hot day and my skin looks plump and feels soft all throughout the day. By far, I am impressed by this product and will continue using it.

*Since it has only been a week, I will surely edit this and make a full review maybe after a month or so. Will also edit it if there are changes with the review. 🥰

None for me but I think some people will find the plastic lid a bit inconvenient. 😬

-Packaging is compact and lightweight so it’s travel-friendly for me!
 
Personal Experience:
A great product for double cleansing to remove light makeup, excess sebum, and sunscreen residues! It just melts into oil immediately and it emulsifies well without leaving any oily/film residue. It is already stated in the box to use an appropriate product for waterproof or heavy makeup, but I still find this one effective in cleaning waterproof makeup; it takes some time to remove it but it does the job pretty well. It is gentle on the skin, has no tight feeling after washing, doesn’t seem blurry or cloudy, and doesn’t sting my eyes.
 
Overall, I have great experience with this one! Great product for all skin types out there.

Although this cleanser is gentle on the skin, however, I only like this as a second cleanser. As a stand alone product, I don’t really feel like this thoroughly cleanse my skin most especially during night time so I need to use another cleanser when I use this one. And also, the packaging is a bit inconvenient for me since it leaks, not a good product to bring along when traveling. 😅

Texture/Consistency:
-Gel type cleanser which is runny and a bit foamy when mixed with water.

Scent:
-Has a hint of a sweet fruity smell. Very mild though.

Packaging:
-Comes in a 200mL pump bottle with lock. I don’t really find it travel-friendly because the contents kinda leak despite having lock in it.

Personal Experience:
What I really love about this cleanser is that it is very mild and doesn’t feel stripping. It feels lightweight, hydrating, and not drying to the face at all. It’s easy to wash this off and doesn’t feel too slippery. Whenever I feel like my skin is getting sensitive, I reach out for this one. This is affordable too, bought this for less than $12 during sale. 

Overall, I mostly use this cleanser during my AM routine or whenever my skin feels stingy or sensitive. I reach out for this one if I over-exfoliated my skin. ❤️
