I’m headed to Mexico next week which has me wondering about Mexican skincare. I haven’t heard much about it before. Has anyone tried any Mexican brands before? What do you recommend?

Over the past couple of months, I’ve received a few items from Abib that contain Heartleaf (Houttuynia Cordata). I’ve never noticed this as an ingredient before, but I’m discovering that my skin absolutely loves it! Have you found other Heartleaf products? Is this mostly an “Abib thing?”

I woke up Thursday to the most exciting news: I was chosen for the Try Me Review Me Sunscreen Party from StyleKorean!!! On the same day, my current SPF ran out (don’t worry…I’m using a backup until my package arrives), so it’s perfect timing! I’m most excited for the Beauty of Joseon one. Has anyone used any of these SPFs yet? Which is your favorite?

Did any of you ever think that the brand Supergoop was owned by Gwyneth Paltrow? I thought that for the longest time, and it was baffling to me why someone so against sunscreen would own a company that makes it. 😂

I don’t particularly love the scent of this, and it did blur my vision. 

It did a decent job of removing my waterproof eye makeup, and it didnt break me out like many oil cleansers do. 

The floral fragrance of this one is much more mild than the toner, but still not my favorite. While it appears thick at first, this is actually lightweight and almost gel-like. It might do better as a daytime moisturizer, but it isn’t enough for my PM routine. 

Overall, I just don’t think this was a great match for my skin. 

There is a tiny bit of texture to this, so I use it sparingly so as to not over exfoliate. 

This thick mask is designed for sensitive skin. It has just a bit of texture to it. I leave it on for about 5-10 minutes until it’s mostly dry, and it leaves my skin super soft and smooth. 

It just isn’t very moisturizing. It‘s called a cream, but its more of a gel.  It may be best for oily types. 

This is definitely soothing and helped repair my skin barrier. I also appreciate that it doesn’t have much scent. 

Nothing! I really love this sunscreen and highly recommend it. 

I have been dying to get my hands on this viral sunscreen, and it did not disappoint! 

🌿Texture: This is a lightweight, creamy gel. It was a bit thinner than I thought, but it absorbs in quickly and still covers well. After my first application, I was concerned that it might be a bit too greasy, but it dries down after a few minutes and has a nice satin finish. 

🌿Scent: Fragrance & EO free!

🌿Whitecast: I do not notice a whitecast, but I have fair skin. This does contain tinosorb M, so those with more melanated skin may notice one. 

🌿Eye Sting: Thankfully, I don’t experience any stinging with this!
