I was recommended by my dermatologist to start using tretinoin 0.025%. What are your recommendations for a k-beauty moisturizer to use in the sandwich method?

As someone that suffers from hormonal acne, I know how important gut health (and internal health in general) it is to maintaining good skin. Does anyone have any great probiotics or prebiotics supplement products they’d like to share, particularly for sensitive stomachs?

Hi hi! Just curious (since I’m always looking to expand my skincare collection 🤣), what are your recommendations for spot treatments for angry zits (those really red/white ones that hurt to the touch)? 

For reference, I’ve used 3 so far & seem to like the Axis-Y one the most (because it makes the area smoother by the next morning & doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin even though it has AHA & BHA). I haven’t seen results from the Logically Skin one & for me, the Hero Cosmetics one helps pimples form into whiteheads faster.

Recommended spot treatments for angry zits?

• I wouldn’t apply this product near my eye lids - although it didn’t irritate my eyes at all, the sunscreen felt oilier as the day went on and some of that oil clouded my eyesight just a tad bit.
• In comparison to cult fave sunscreens like Beauty of Joseon, this sunscreen is more on the oilier side and more suitable for the fall & winter vs. the spring & summer.

TLDR: I would absolutely buy this sunscreen with my own money. 
• There’s 10 types of Cica (which includes fruit extracts) & other soothing ingredients like artemisia in the formula so it’s great for irritated skin. 
• Does not irritate my hormonal acne and even gives my chin a slight tone up effect.
• Really easy to blend into my skin (cue the video of me applying the sun cream 😅)

• The product does ball up on itself quite a bit so don’t expect dramatic results but it is quite fun to use! 😅

This product is a great option for sensitive skin types that still want some exfoliation. 
• Formula contains Hyaluronic acid, adenosine, panthenol, niacinamide & even centella asiatica to keep the skin barrier healthy while exfoliating.
• The product is unscented and is also super easy to wash off after rubbing on skin. 

• If you use too much, it will be too oily for oily skin folks!

• No fragrance or parabens! Really great night time moisturizer for even oily skin folks.
• Blends out really easily & leaves a slight dewy finish
• Great at soothing slightly irritated spots on face / compromised skin barrier
• I would rate this just below my holy grail skin barrier cream, the Etude House Soonjung 2x barrier cream 

• Can be a bit sticky in the warmer months for combo/oily skin
• Is hard to blend onto skin (see video) 
• Didn’t particularly see a difference in my hyperpigmentation


• Sensitive skin friendly! I found that this product didn’t break me out at all!
• Watery texture, doesn’t leave too sticky of a finish

• Oily skin types (I’m combo for reference) may find the finish of this sun stick to be too oily - if you do touch/blot your face, you will feel some oil.
• For super sensitive folks, this sun stick does have somewhat of an herby smell. It hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin but I would wary if you have sensitive skin!

• Cooling on the skin
• Once applied, gives the skin an extra boost of glow without looking too oily
• Doesn’t pill for me
• Also doesn’t irritate my eyes
