Does anyone know any good face oils that are lightweight and layer well over a moisturizing cream at night? I was hoping to start using one to give my night routine some ✨pizzazz✨ I’m hoping to find one that’s lightweight and antioxidant rich. Also, how many drops should I use? And can I mix it with my moisturizer? I know mixing products isn’t generally recommended but I’ve heard of people doing it and having no problem

Can anyone recommend some waterproof foundations, preferably with a semi matte/ natural finish? I don’t care if it’s a cushion or cream or whatnot just something that lasts through water and sweat and has a decent price point

Waterproof Foundation Recommendations?

So right now I’m skin cycling (have been for about a year and a half now) and it’s been working out really well for me. For anyone that doesn’t know it’s a 4 night cycle between actives and rest for the skin as follows:
Night 1 - Exfoliate
Night 2 - Retinoid
Night 3&4 - No actives
Repeat

While I agree with the saying “don’t fix what ain’t broke”, my skin goals are changing up a bit. My retinoid night was retinol and has upgraded to adapalene for the last few months. My skin is tolerating adapalene really well on night 2 and it’s keeping my breakouts at bay way better than retinol ever did. But now I’m thinking about getting more serious about anti aging, which means I want to wean off of skin cycling and start using adapalene more often. I would also probably stop any night time exfoliation, especially since I use a product with a glycolic, lactic, salicylic acid mix. 

So my questions are:

How should I go about increasing my adapalene frequency? 

How many nights a week should be my end goal for adapalene if I want anti aging benefits?

I’m thinking of using a pha toner some mornings since it’s not photosensitizing like other acids, and to still get some exfoliating in. Would this be too much and if not then how many mornings a week should I aim for?
