Did anyone notice that the points allocation has changed on Picky?

There's so many terms going around regarding this sort of skin, so I was wondering if there a differnce and why people would prefer one over the other.

Difference between glass vs dewy skin?

While this might be haircare related, the scalp is also a specific part of the skin. I'd like to hearwhat you guys may be doing to protect hair growth and maintence whether ig be through products, diet and or lifestyle choices.

Scalp care! What is your routine?

I'm in the 20s to 30s range. The most anti-aging I've taken is retional eye cream and wishtrend's bakuchiol night cream.

Recently a vegan korean skincare brand has reached out to me to select a product I want to try and I'm seeking something like an anti-aging cream or serum because my skin looks aged due to sleep and stress issues. I only have wrinkles on my forehead cause i'm expressive.

I found an ampoule/serum but the only thing is that this  has EGF and FGF in it. I personally never heard of these in skincare before, but my brief research tells me it helps with collagen production, which speeds skin cell growth too. The argument or fear associated with cancer.... as is... cancer works the same way in speeding cell growth in a horrible way. There is no evidence but it is a fear.

The EGF and FGF are still vegan cause it's derived from plant material. I'm not sure how this helps but the product has a great review but it has the lowest amount of reviews. The reviews on Picky for this product have been over a year ago.

What's your take on anti-aging skincare with growth factors like EGF and FGF?

I'm posing this question as this has happened several times. When I win a Picky giveaway, 60% of the time it goes to my mailbox instead of my door or at the pick up point. (It totally random.)

While I like it going to my mailbox due to the package being secure... this mail box is made of metal and is in direct heat of the sun. Right now, the heat record in my location is extreme. When I take the package out of the box I can feel it cooking in my hand. When I immediately open it at home the product packaging and container is hot. 

So far I smelled the product and tested it on my hand but it seems fine, but I know that these are intended to be stored in cool environments... some people also put skincare in the fridge. Is the effectiveness worn off from the products if they are heated?

Is there anything wrong with

The packaging tries to copy a luxury feel, but I think it can be improved. The scent almost feels like it though.

I didn't use it long enough to determine it's bad side. Might not be strong enough for the anti aging as some people have said, but I qlso think alternative methods is better for younger generation groups for qnti aging purposes. At most, it's a very good hydrating moisturizer.

Growing up my family members and I would use ginseng tea in we needed to maintain focus (like exams etc) or eat warm nourishing with black fungus. Skin House’s Wrinkle Supreme Serum caught my interest as it was made with both! The ginseng helps with skin vitality, reducing inflammation whereas the 9 different mushroom extracts is loaded with various antioxidant properties.

Looking down at the ingredient list, it also has squalene (and it's even higher in the ingredient list than the serum)! It’s naturally produced in our bodies where it gives skin the ability to retain water, where skin can keep hydrated. But as we grow into our mid 20s, the production slows. A very reasonable ingredient to help with anti-aging.

My thoughts on it:
The cream also has a nice herbal scent! The texture isn’t that heavy. After using it a couple times I noticed the cream retains moisture and nourishes my skin very well. (This one doesn't seem to have macadamia nut oil in it like the serum.)

I think this product in much better for people who fit the age range. Things like retinol or vitamin C would be much better for my age group in preventing wrinkles in the first place, and while the cream seems effective, I think it's best used with a serum of the same line to do the best work it can for someone who fits the target market of this product better. Still not a waste though, as I know my mother is currently enjoying this product haha.

I didn't use it long enough to determine the bad side, but I didn't see my skin react badly to it. I think there are other methods that are better for anti aging in younger generations as this is geared much for the mature skin. It's a very hydrating serum though, qlbeit scented.

I may be the oddball here, but I adore green and herbal like scents like this serum had! The texture isn’t that heavy. It absorbs well and I felt hydrated after letting it sit on my skin before applying the cream version of this line of product (another similar review of that one is coming your way in a bit!).

I think this product in much better for people who fit the age range. Things like retinol or vitamin C would be much better for my age group in preventing wrinkles in the first place, and I’m unsure how effective this will be for me as my wrinkles are due to my poor sleep and stress. It’s not that this was a waste though, as I know my mother is currently enjoying this product haha.

The only thing I don't like about this product is that... it has a sticky and thick formula. It feels like a viscous formula and texture. (Because it's made 'waterless'.) Although you don't need much of this product for each time you apply it, it does make it slightly annoying to massage across your face for it to absorb correctly. For me, I prefer (and am used to) have a lightweight product for brightening my skin!
