Rose Water Gel Cream
š¹Rapid Review:š¹
š§68% Damask Rose Water (antioxidant & antimicrobial properties)
š¹HA, Glycerin, Trehalose, BG, & Dimethicone for hydration & skin protection
š§Smooth & silky texture, cooling & soothing, sinks in quickly with no stickiness
š¹Plays well with all sunscreens Iāve tried; no pilling or weird texture under sunscreen
š§Moisture lasts all day but does not get oily; even better hydration when used with the Mamonde Rose Water Toner!
š¹Affordable! You can find it for less than $20.
š¹On my hunt for the perfect summer moisturizer, Iāve been testing out this gorgeous cream for a little over a month now, in rotation with 2 other gel creams (Perfect One Gel and Elizavecca Water Drop), & so far itās my favorite of the 3. I donāt usually go for gels because they can be heavy in glycerin, which, while it can be good for hydration, leaves a sticky finish if the concentration is too high. I feel like itās sort of a ācheaterā ingredientā¦it helps hydrate, but itās cheap so some creams pack so much in that the effectiveness is lost; you get the immediate hydration but it doesnāt last, & youāre left with a tacky face.
š¹The Mamonde Rose Water Gel Cream does NOT have the stickiness problem! The balance of glycerin is just right, and thereās not too much dimethicone either, so no silicone-y feeling. Youāre left with petal-soft, lovely-smelling skin!
This does contain both fragrance and stearic acid, which can irritate very sensitive skin. It hasnāt caused me any problems though. It would not be moisturizing enough for how dry my skin gets in winter.
