Firm & Smooth Eye Lip Mask
This product is labeled as an eye and lip mask, but I've been using it as an eye and lip cream. It doesn't have any ingredients that would make sense for it to need to be washed off after 15 minutes. Even the usage instructions state that you can also leave it on overnight. So basically, it's just a moisturizer.
It does what a moisturizer should do: it moisturizes. It's fine. Has a light pinkish color.
I like the pump packaging.
I appreciate that it's cruelty free and vegan.
This product claims to do all sorts of magical things that it certainly will not actually do. The brand straight up says that "it offers a filler, lifting and botox-like effect". That is absolute nonsense. There are no magic ingredients in this cream, certainly nothing that would in any way mimic filler or botox. It largely just consists of a bunch of plant oils and botanical extracts. It will moisturize the skin, sure, but that's pretty much it. It's not an anti-aging product, either, like the brand claims. It's just a moisturizer.
There's generally a whole lot of marketing fluff around this product. I don't appreciate the marketing of this whole brand as "pure" and "natural". It's misleading and contributes to fearmongering against perfectly safe and effective ingredients and brands. Everything is a chemical, including the ingredients that BeOnMe uses. And "natural" is not better than synthetic.
The consistency of this cream is very thick. It's not the easiest to spread around the eyes. It doesn't glide on smoothly. It actually even feels a bit waxy.
Personally, I also didn't enjoy the scent. I assume the scent comes from the fruit and flower extracts that are in it. To be fair, I don't generally tend to enjoy many scents in cosmetics, and that's just a personal preference. It's not a terribly strong scent, but it's definitely noticeable.
At 26 euros for 30 ml I really don't think this product is worth it.
