This is my first product of this type, for years I used as a spot treatment a cream made in the pharmacy, following my dermatologist directions. That cream while it was usefull, it wouldn't dry so I stained a lot of pillowcases with it. Therefore, the first thing that I like about this product it's that it dries and stays in place, it won't move to other parts of my face or stain my clothes or pillowcase. As for the results, they are similar. It takes two nights to dry a pustule and if I use it on pimples that are just red and inflamed I usually notice in the morning that the redness went down a bit.
I also like that by just dipping once you can get enough product to cover at least 5 spots.
Not a miracle product obviously, does it's job but it takes a few days. I also don't like that you have to waste q-tips
