Renterese review for Sheer Face Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Very thick texture that ends up feeling quite heavy on the skin, and that sticks around for a few hours. It also has a strange, plastic-y smell. White cast is frankly atrocious, I spent so long rubbing my face that it was sore and felt raw. And even after all that, I still ended up having to wipe my face with a damp towel to try to get the white color toned down to a point that I was comfortable leaving my house. And I didn't even notice until I was washing my face at the end of the day, but it had left a bunch of white residue in my hairline that was there all day. Not really ideal. For only 30 SPF, that is so not worth it for me. Especially since this sunscreen is specifically advertised on the website to leave "no white residue" on the face. That's just not the case. I'm interested to see how their tinted sunscreen fares, and will still be trying that since I also have a free sample of that! I really wish I liked this sunscreen but unfortunately it was a miss for me.
