Vitamin C Serum
hiii bestieees! i'm going to do Vitamin C Serum review from ElsheSkin (@elsheskin), a local brand from Indonesia. this is my first vit c serum everrr so I'm very excited to write a review about it!
This serum contains active ingredients such as EAA (Ethyl Ascorbic Acid), Lecithin, Citric Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vit E) which claims to make skin look brighter evenly and keep it moist. let's talk about the packaging!
• packaging:
dark red glass bottle with a pump applicator. I like the pump so much because it's very easy to squeeze and can maintain product hygiene.
• texture & scent:
The texture is a light watery gel which melts immediately and absorbs quickly into the skin. There's a slight sour smell but it doesn't bother me.
• personal experience:
I usually use 2 pumps of this vitamin C every morning before moisturizer. The use of vitamin C along with sunscreen is really really good for my skin(人 •͈ᴗ•͈) My skin looks brighter and my acne scars are fading after less than 2 weeks of use.
Before using this vitamin c, I've had 1 blind acne near my nose for a long time, it's small but it hurts haha ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ When I tried to apply Elsheskin vit c to the blind acne, the acne came to the surface the day after😭👍 This product is great for speeding up the drying of acne and fading their scars.
Actually from the product knowledge, this product is not recommended for sensitive skin and more recommended for normal to oily non-acne skin because it can cause irritation.
I have sensitive skin, so before I put it on all over my face, I tried to apply this vitamin C to certain spots on my face to see if there was a negative reaction or not. thank God my skin is totally okay with it😭🙏
BUT it's better for those with sensitive skin or acne prone skin to consult with Elsheskin first before trying the product.
